The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable - I learned a lot about fresh honeycomb and the harvest process while chatting today. I picked up a box of beeswax tea lights, which are my favorite to burn in a salt block holder while I work - so relaxing. The first half hour putting our noses to the test while sniffing our way through to 200+ scents the Cleveland Candle Company has to offer. With a wide verity of scents ranging from fruity and savory foods, plant, spa, floral, seasonal, and specially scents it can be difficult to narrow down your selection to your top 3. If you are experiencing a sensory overload, you can shop their amazing selection of pre-made soy candles, handcrafted bath bombs, oil infused lip balms and vegan soaps. While waiting for our signature candles to dry we were surrounded by the friendly and helpful staff their pleasant and uplifting attitudes added to the enjoyment of waiting for our creations. The decor style leans towards farmhouse chic, which is not my style, but I can still appreciate the huge amount of effort in this shop. The store is meticulous. If the decor is your taste, you could easily outfit multiple rooms and do some serious damage! With everything from artwork to kitchen wares, you could easily find some treasures. If you're waiting on a pick-up order for food from Woodstock, this is a great choice to browse. Something I found unique is that in the back of the store you can find them cultivating small plants and sunning air plants. That was such a fun surprise, so make sure you adventure to the very back of the store! The associates are really helpful and the candles smell great. Most of them are in mason jars, keeping in line with the theme. Swan Creek is a lovely place to shop for a gift and an indisputable mood booster!

The amazingly friendly workers said they could make custom ones for my kids! So we went home with a custom blue and custom pink elephant we saw being made for the same price an existing one would have been. What great service and value! The second time I visited the shop was to pick up the free wax melts that were a part of the Dutch host inn package. Since it was just me I was able to ask about the candles. They pour all of them right there! There was a great selection of sizes, scents and jars. I love that they have lilac, basically my ultimate favorite scent. It can be harder to find. I left with a giraffe candle and a lilac candle (in addition to my wax melts). The shop does take credit cards but there is a four percent fee if you pay that way. If you are going to Walnut Creek farms it is right down the street from the entrance. Definitely worth a visit and a place I'll be back to!
