Holly's is my go-to florist in Walla Walla, and one of the best florists I've ever ordered flowers from. A couple years ago I was in town and saw a really striking, contemporary flower arrangement on the counter at the Patisserie. I asked them where it was from, and they pointed to Holly's across the street. The next time I needed to send flowers to someone in Walla Walla, I gave Holly's a call and told them I wanted something similar to what I'd seen at the Patisserie. They delivered a beautiful arrangement, and they have done amazingly well the four or five times I've used them since. The last time I called, they were even able to do a same-day delivery when I called up at 2:30 in the afternoon. It's always a risk ordering flowers over the phone, and I've been burned by other places more than once. But with Holly's, I know I'll be sending beautiful bouquets. read more

I went in yesterday to get a bouquet for a friend. The lady was very friendly and said she would be able to make a bouquet up for me in my price range. I asked for 30-40 dollar range and for it to be full of bright flowers. I waited 15 minutes and was charged $43 for literally 4 flowers with some greenery that was in a clear rectangle glass vase. The arrangement was very pretty and flowers looked nice, but it was a very tiny arrangement. I tried to be very polite and ask for some more flowers because I was floored that two tulips and two small purple flowers would be worth $43, honestly would have priced it at about $20. She assured me that with labor, design, the flowers she chose it was $43. She did offer to swap out the flowers for carnations, which I didn't want carnations. She didn't offer a refund, or give me the option to return the flowers. Really disappointed, I love going into local shops and have bought a lot of flowers, have NEVER been charged that much for that little. read more

We work in Anchorage, Alaska, and one of our teammates duty-stationed in Walla Walla nearly died of a brain tumor, literally. She went through a highly traumatic event and had to be medevaced to Seattle for an emergency procedure. To let her know she was in our thoughts and hearts we searched several floral vendors to find a floral arrangement unique, creative, and special like our dear friend and co-worker Name; to let her know we care, and to reflect the beauty and creativity we see in her. We also wanted to give our business to a local vendor instead of going with FTD. With that in mind we chose Holly's and spent $xx.xx on the Premium version of the Love-it bouquet shown in the first picture below. Based on this picture our expectation when we ordered to have an arrangement at least as beautiful, unique and creative as that shown for the standard. The actual flowers delivered shown in the second and third photos show the bouquet actually delivered by your company. The results are beyond disappointing. What was actually delivered looks like something anyone could have paid a mere $16.99 for at a grocery store floral counter. Because we are in Anchorage, AK, we did not have the luxury of shopping locally for Name, and instead had to put our trust into the company we selected for the delivery. We realize substitutions sometimes have to be made, but would expect the quality and caliber to be on par with what was ordered. If we had wanted roses we would have ordered roses. Also, if all you had was roses, then any one of the three arrangements shown in the last three photos, that are all less than the $xx.xx we spent would have been far more aesthetic than what Maria actually received. From a place of honor and integrity and truth in advertising, I am asking of you one of two things to make this right for our friend 1.Create a bouquet equal to the creativity, uniqueness, and quality of the Love-It bouquet, and at the premium level as ordered; or 2.Please provide a full refund so we can use the monies at an alternative vendor who can deliver equal to that which they advertise. I realize sometimes folks get busy or just have a bad day, so I do not believe this apparent bait and switch was in any way intentional. We did have to substitute a lovely bronze color orchid in place of the green, and also included the snake grass as a design element. When an upgrade is requested for an arrangement we add more of the flowers that are pictured and strive to maintain the same overall style and feel. This is what we did for this arrangement as well. I ordered a bouquet from Holly's Flowers a few years ago for an event at my brother's house. Bottom line was that the flowers were wilted & dying the next day; my brother called Holly's & complained. Holly's replaced the bouquet. Based on current good reviews, I decided I would call them again (silly me) & this time talk directly to the manager - which I did. She was great & very interested when I told her of my past bad experience. She ensured me the current bouquet would be wonderful. I was at my brother's when the bouquet was delivered, complete with a "Happy Anniversary" ballon. When I saw it I was shocked at how FEW FLOWERS & a TON of greenery made up the bouquet. I had specified I wanted something really striking & beautiful, etc. etc. She assured me it would be wonderful. Well, it wasn't. The balloon was nice though. They wrote down the credit card number wrong and my cell phone number wrong, they then looked up our house phone number and left a message there. My wife gets the message...surprise ruined. I do give them credit for looking up an alternate number. The problem I had was that they were not at all apologetic about ruining the surprise. I'm really torn about whether to give Holly's a good or bad rating. On the one hand, all the bouquets were beautiful, but they really weren't what I had asked for. There were some rare flowers I had asked for, specifying that silk was perfectly fine, since we were doubtful she could find real ones. These flowers were important to me, and I stressed that to the designer. But when the flowers finally showed up for my wedding (they weren't ready when my coordinator went to pick them up) they didn't have the flowers I'd requested and frankly clashed with all the wedding colors. There may have been some miscommunication about the color, my color was periwinkle and that is hard to match and describe, but the flowers I wanted were that color exactly. I just got my wedding pictures back, and at times it is painfully obvious that the dresses and the flowers don't match. I also asked for a foot long cascade of ivy (I gave her a picture of exactly what i was looking for) and got about 6 inches of a rose that looked like it had fallen out of the main bouquet and a really delicate fern that didn't last the day. While yes, all the flowers were pretty, I didn't feel like I was really listened to, and they were also hours late on delivery. read more
