The Italian accent, her friendliness! She's just very passionate about her food and it shows. My winery event/ family reunion after 2 years was a huge hit thanks to Parlatos food. My Italian family, often so picky, loved it. Even the vegetarian dishes were a hit even though everyone loves meat. So much so, no left overs of anything! I paired that with a side salad which was loaded with nicely chopped fresh crispy veggies and leafy greens which as anyone who is a side salad over fries person will tell you should be an easy thing to make but usually turns out crappy, not this time. The chef spent time beautifully chopping up nice fresh veggies there was not a crappy wilted or mushy veggie to be found. Salad win. My husband got the same thing but with fries instead of salad. Although I don't like fries I did try some because he got this amazing little dish of gravy to go with. Well that gravy was the most rich, perfectly seasoned and sumptuous gravy I have had. It was knock your your socks off delicious. All and all my comment to my husband was "It's like you went over to someone's house who makes everything from scratch and is really good at cooking". Me and my partner went to Michelangelo's for our first time this weekend for a wedding. So with this said we gave the bride our list of things that they couldn't eat weeks in advance and she passed along right away. So the day of the event I felt comfortable that they would have no issues but brought the epipen just in case. When we got there the venue is beautiful with lots of natural light and very clean! When it was time for dinner we decided to remind them about their allergy and let them know what table we we're at. When the waiter/waitresses came by we asked if the tray had any dairy and all but 2 didn't have any dairy which was great. Finally dinner came and the meat was over cooked and burnt like they forgot about it on the grill! The rest of the evening was OK and they took care of everything pretty well. We decided to leave a few hours after and that's when the symptoms of a reaction started! So to make a long story short we ended up spending hours in the hospital as Michelangelo's must have let a small amount of dairy touch their food. Either they must have crossed contaminated something or didn't wash there hand after touching dairy. If you or a family member has a severe allergy DO NOT TRUST that they will be able to accommodate! Also if you look online you will find other people with other complaints similar to mine.

The waitress came to check in on me three times while I was there and was pleasant each time and I was very happy with the service. The establishment was clean. Everyone seemed to be very busy. I ordered a Virgin Mary because I do not consume fish, and when I flagged the server down because something tasted off, I asked her to check what juice it was. 20 minutes later, at least, I had to flag her down again. She said that she was so busy that she hadn't checked. When I went to the Bar the bartender said it was a Caesar. We had mentioned we had stressed that I did not eat fish products, and the Bartender's reaction was most uncaring. Her only response was that she could remake it for me, and it was said in a way that I told her to just take it off the bill. She told me that she wasn't sure that they would do that and that I had to get approval from the manager, (who was the server) and brushed me away. She apologized and stressed that she had order it correctly and that the Bartender had made the mistake. I stressed how dangerous this could be if people had allergies. She gave a one word 'sorry' several times, in a manner that did not impress me. She took it off the bill, but the accidental plugged an extra $20 onto the bill. Again, one word 'sorry'. I left a message for the Restaurant manager to phone (who was off for 2 days and to his benefit called me back). He seemed sincere and asked for two days to get back to me so that he could talk to these two ladies. Now it's way past that deadline and there is no phone call.
