I paired that with a side salad which was loaded with nicely chopped fresh crispy veggies and leafy greens which as anyone who is a side salad over fries person will tell you should be an easy thing to make but usually turns out crappy, not this time. The chef spent time beautifully chopping up nice fresh veggies there was not a crappy wilted or mushy veggie to be found. Salad win. My husband got the same thing but with fries instead of salad. Although I don't like fries I did try some because he got this amazing little dish of gravy to go with. Well that gravy was the most rich, perfectly seasoned and sumptuous gravy I have had. It was knock your your socks off delicious. All and all my comment to my husband was "It's like you went over to someone's house who makes everything from scratch and is really good at cooking". We weren't informed so honestly we had no clue! But i have to say thanks to Elaine and this one other lady they managed to take us in... This probably was our shortest date ever! The ambience was nice and the food was pretty great !! The service was great because Elaine was the kindest server .... We will definitely go back (but probably for an early dinner)
