Last year, after bringing my dog on a walk around town, she fell ill with obvious signs of…read morepoisoning. In the midst of calling 10+ vets and vet hospitals without any luck of any possibility of being seen within the next 6 hours, I left a voicemail for Interstate. I was shocked when the vet called back within minutes and said that someone would meet me at the clinic and that although she was almost home, that she would turn around and go back. Both were so incredible in their compassion, attention to detail and all bodily systems that could be affected. All aspects were openly discussed at a level that I understood and respectful of my almost 30 years of people medicine (complete with education of the differences between people and dog pathophysiology). Then I was shocked at how affordable the emergency management was. Thank you for saving my velcro girl pit bull.

From phone call to appt the wait was a week which I found impressive after how long the waits were for established patients where we just moved from (WV). From the first phone call to check out it was a great experience! Everyone was SO friendly! We were led into the exam room within just a couple minutes of arriving. They drew the blood needed for the heartworm etc testing right there in the exam room and did the exam and vaccinations in there too. The previous vet took them out of the room and away from us which I do not care for. Everyone was so friendly and explained things thoroughly and patiently and pleasantly answered our questions. Price wise they did require a deposit for the exam on the phone, but overall the pricing was very fair and much more reasonable than we paid in TX or WV. Very happy to have found our new vet!
