They give you the minimum atention , just get your keys and leave After we returned the car , which they said was OK, and had no damage, we found that they had charged us an extra of U$D 112,74 on our credit card on June 25th, the day we returned the car. We made a claim at rentalcars.com who were responsible for the rental . They said they could do nothing as they had no access to Budgets invoice. We had to present this invoice and maybe then they could help. Luckily we were able to cancel this payment with our Mastercard. Much quicker and efficient.

Every other business in the area is wide open so it's not a normal cultural thing, just this office. I would not recommend using budget in Prague. I've always had a good experience in other cities with budget but this one wasn't what I'm used to with budget.

Upon arrival at the Prague airport got a brand, I've never ever heard before. It was fine, big enough for my family and luggage,so I took it. one Hour into our drive on the hwy from Prague a warning light showed up on the dashboard, that the car needs more oil! 3 hours into our drive something blew in the engine and the car rapidly slowed down. Sounded like a vacuum and wouldn't go more than 100 km/h. Got to our destination with delay, and called the rental company. Thought they gonna take care of it right away but it took the whole next day and bunch of phone calls back and forth, to tow the broken car and bring me a replacement.Rest of the trip went fine, I returned the replacement car and we returned back to NY. About month and half later I got an unauthorized charge for over 2000 from Sixt car rental. I found an email from Sixt car rental about the charges saying that the car had been returned 30 days Late. So..... they try to charge me for extra 31 days even though i had returned the car and left the country!!! do not recommend this company! Stay away from them!

I rented a car through Expedia like I have done close to a hundred times before, and thought, like…read morealways, it would be a breeze. This is the first time I have used SIXT, but not the first time I have rented from a car rental company in the Prague city center. First, let me say my rental confirmation from Expedia stated it should have been 1111CZK (~$50US) for two days - ended up costing 6140CZK (ALMOST $300US!!!). So first it started when I went to pick up the car. I didn't choose the Expedia insurance so the car company offered theirs. Their basic insurance cost the same amount as full coverage did at the last rental company I used (Rent Plus) and also for two days cost more than they were charging me to rent the car! The other car company - basic insurance came with the Car rental and full coverage cost less than what SIXT was charging me for their BASIC. Mind you with basic insurance I was still going to be liable for 20000CZK worth of damage (~$950US). Alright, my road trip was starting the next morning, so I sucked it up and added the basic insurance coverage. Should have checked my CC because it might have had insurance included (ughhhh). The car was ok. It looked relatively new, manual drive, but it sounded a little "shuddering/shaky" whenever I started it up - like I wondered if it would be fine for a long drive - but it turned out to be ok. So returning was where the other half of the fiasco continued. Turns out the car contract only included 250 kms. That was not written ANYWHERE on my Expedia booking and what car company even rents cars with limited mileage?!?!?! SIXT, that's who! So, to their point, they did print it on my contract which I did not read as closely, due to it NOT being advertised that way when I rented the car. And what car company even rents cars with limited mileage anymore?!?!? ugh my fault for not re-reading the contract but EXPENSIVE lesson learned. Oh! And THEN I got the car with 1/4 tank low of gas, so I returned it with the same amount which they were quick to point out. So I had to remind them the car came like that and I actually left more in the tank than I got it with. All in all, a horrible experience. Way too expensive versus other car rental companies in the city center. Next time I'll rent earlier and go back to Rent Plus where I felt more appreciated.

The blonde woman was very nice but the young man there was rude. They keep no cars at this location so be prepared to wait. They drive the car from the airport to this location after the paperwork is done.

They charged me almost $700 additional fee for insurance for 10 days! I tried to call while I was in Prague but no one was picking up. I tried going to the counter again one morning, the Rent Plus counter was closed, so I ended up talking to another company also renting at the Airport. They told me they charge maximum of $30/day insurance for their best cars but never $70! After I returned the car, I was charged and additional $35, no idea why, no explanation, just a charge appeared on my credit card. There is no way to contact them. These people are scammers, stay far away! They will rob you!

Rented from Rent Plus at Prague Airport for a short trip to Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland. Told the agent we were visiting Bastei Bridge in Germany-- in addition to being told "all tolls are covered" he proceeded to give us recommendations as to what to visit in the area as he and his friends "visited often". It was very clear to him we were going to be visiting Germany briefly (3 hours in total). No mention of any border fee. Returned the car, told we were "all set," then hit with a $275 fee after we left the country. No warning and no way to reach customer service from the U.S. Others have reported the same thing. Avoid this company at all costs.
