I expected a busy store but this one seemed quiet. Maybe because it was early afternoon on a weekday. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and asked if there was anything they could help with. I went straight for the nail polish and they had multiple gold polish to pick from. I got one and on my way out I found a new lotion by Hempz, Serene Waters an extra moisture lotion. Up until checkout this was a great visit. Checkout itself took forever. There was a line and with 3 cashier's you'd think it would move quickly but each transaction seemed to take forever. Usually they are quick so I am not sure what was going on.

So I have a wedding tomorrow and I traveled in from out of state. I worked right up until it was time to hop on my fight so in a panic a couple days before my flight I called asking if someone in store does full face make up. I just realized I've yet to write a review for this location--which has faithfully provided a great experience every time I've walked through its doors. Pharmacy: They are speedy and helpful. On several occasions there has been a line when I've come to pick up my prescription, however each time it moves so speedily you could hardly call it a wait. Additionally, every time I call in a prescription refill it is done in less than an hour. They have automated phone calls and texts that you can opt in for so you know as soon as it is ready. Other things: This store is filled to the brim with, well everything you'd hope to find at a drug store--over the counter medicines, face products, makeup, toiletries, and several convenience items that save you a trip to another store (one time I bought a can opener here lol). Customer service: I've only ever encountered kind and helpful folks doing their job when I've come here. Hands down, my favorite pharmacy/drug store in the Boise area!

I started with Ingrid, who is absolutely wonderful. She did a great job coloring and trimming my hair. I have transitioned to Erin because she works weekends, and she is awesome as well! She does a great job with my roots and fashion color. Fashion color can be tricky and very expensive, but Erin has perfected the craft and her rates are reasonable (especially compared to salons downtown who all quoted a minimum of $500 for fashion color and actually end up costing a lot more). The atmosphere is very nice as well. The salon stations aren't too close together, which I appreciate. Erin's space is in the basement, which is nicely quiet on Sundays. Her awesome art decorates the space very well and it's cool to learn about it. The online booking is fairly simple and so convenient. You also receive reminder email notifications which is helpful. In December 2021 I was contacted by office staff that there was a problem with an insurance claim and that I owed a balance of about $120. Shortly after that news, I had a serious medical emergency with one of my kids. Yes, I forgot about this bill, that's on me. The bill went to collections and I paid the bill in full the beginning of February. I just tried scheduling my annual skin check and was informed that I was "dismissed" from the practice as a result of the collections action. 14 years with them. And they booted me over $120 because it was a little late. They clearly don't care about their patients. They care about their $$$$.
