Walked in off the street on a Saturday night, and got told sorry it was fully booked. So we thought ok, this place must be good, so the next day we made a reservation for that night and came back in again, but this time with a reservation for 2.
The place itself, really isn't anything special, looks like a shop or a cafe that has been converted into a restaurant. Menu, was just average, not a great deal on there. We started thinking maybe we built it up for more than it was.
But then the food came out and all of a sudden we saw why the place was so popular. Food is great! We had antipasta, and it was one of the best ones we have had in years. Then we had the duck and the linguine. Duck was a little dry, they did apologise and did give us a glass of wine to compensate. For desert we had bombe Alaska and home made sorbet. The bombe Alaska is literally the best I have ever had, it was amazing.
