I am so grateful for Kristen and Adolfo at LivHRT. Kristen was the 4th hormone specialist that I…read morehad seen. Previously, I was only offered birth control (even though I'm sterilized) and vaginal estrogen (I was already on it). The appointment was nothing like the others I saw. She has an amazing wealth of up to date knowledge, experience, confidence, and competency. She is humble about it and has the attitude of an eternal student, which only makes me trust her more. She perfectly balanced listening and "client-practitioner shared decision making" with a conservative approach of "minimal effective dose" and ruling out potential underlying causes/disease. She also has simple, upfront, fair pricing on her website. No memberships, just follow-ups as needed (every 6mo as legally required once stable). You can use insurance for labs/medication if you prefer. She has and is pursuing some amazing certifications, including functional medicine, the menopause society, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. We looked at labs as a guide but she also prioritized symptoms. She was the first provider I saw who was informed about labs being an unreliable snapshot of your hormones during perimenopause when levels are in chaos. When the appointment ended, I had a very clear plan of action that I feel good about. I highly recommend LivHRT!

I would basically float back to my car after our sessions. Her intake process was very thorough and covered any previous conditions or physical problem areas I had, but also covered what was going on with me mentally and emotionally and my personal stress levels. Her treatment approach was a solid balance between medicinal and holistic. We did a Human Design session once, before an acupuncture session, I enjoyed learning more about myself. We also did cupping once, too. I call her a mystic because of how amazing I felt after each session. She's fantastic and I highly recommend seeing her if you have any persistent issues or just need to deepen your own self care. I can't wait to see her again.

I am not the same person I was when I started. Each treatment is slightly different depending on what I come in with and I am always amazed by what it is I feel during and after a treatment. Audrey does an amazing job at listening to what it is I share and she supplements a treatment that boost my healing with whatever it is I am feeling physically and/or emotionally. This includes a wrist surgery and shoulder pain from work overuse (I'm a massage therapist). I also really enjoy the nuggets of Chinese medicinal wisdom she drops in during my treatments, they give me something to conceptually grasp and a sense of relief, that what I am feeling is all part of a bigger picture and that I am okay. Whether you are a newbie or a veteran to Chinese medicine, I highly recommend seeing Audrey if you are leaning towards acupuncture treatment. She has helped me tremendously with clearing old, energetic blockages that kept me in a sluggish, depressed state for years. If you are new to acupuncture and are curious about it, then I suggest trying one of the community nights. This was my first treatment. When I felt the cooling sensation arise over my lungs (this is where grief is stored in the body) is when I decided to make my first individual appointment. The experience at community night opened my door to the benefits of Traditional Chinese medicine.

I originally saw her to help with hormone balance. I am so glad I did. What she taught me has helped me with a very smooth transition into perimenopause with little symptoms. I love that she uses functional lab testing to really find out what's happening and then gets to the root cause. I always leave her office with a renewed sense of hope that whatever issue I am facing there are answers. I can't recommend Dr. Amy, and naturopathy in general, enough.

I went to Candace because I had been applying to positions for months and not making any progress. I felt totally stuck. Hiring Candace was the single best thing I have ever done for myself! She helped me create a plan for my move, my career, and my future. One thing Candace helped me with was perfecting the LinkedIn follow-up. I was following up with recruiters on LinkedIn inconsistently and my message was not refined. I tried it Candace's way after applying to a position and got an interview with a great company for a role that wasn't even posted yet. A couple months later, I have a job offer where I got every single thing I wanted in a role and more. Candace gave me the confidence and tools to put myself out there and get what I want. She had me think about things I hadn't considered and strengthen my brand. I am so glad I found her!

On the day of my appointment I woke up with a fever and vomiting. I went to the doctor to find out I have the flu. I called Austin Colonic right away to ask to reschedule. Karen (who I presume is the owner) was incredibly rude. She said no rescheduling or cancellations read the policy. I begged her in tears she said "come in anyway and it will clear out toxins". I told her I was still throwing up and felt uncomfortable driving and she said, "you sound very dramatic, read the policy there are no last minute changes". I continued to beg her to reschedule and she said, "it has to be in under one week", I told her I just got sick today and I'm not sure if I will feel better then, and asked for two weeks, she said no and "go somewhere else" and hung up the phone Absolutely ridiculous behavior when treating customers for a premium service. Zero compassion, empathy, or understanding. Highly suggest you go to a business that is professional, and understanding of life circumstances. Would reccomend Alive and Well for colonics, I typically go there but my typical provider was extremely booked (unlike this place). Do not book here unless you are okay with being charged fees if god forbid something come up that is urgent and you cannot make it. Looking at the negative reviews on Google, I probably should have done this first before booking. Clearly a behavior pattern with this business treating people so poorly.

I've been to anyone in this town worth their salt (and plenty who weren't), plus my work in a closely related field means I also know all the best local sex therapists, coaches, and counselors. And even with that highly skilled extensive network at my fingertips, Samantha has been an invaluable addition to my sexual health resource list. Not only for her vast knowledge on women's issues and sexual health, but because she truly cares on a level you simply don't find anywhere else. I use her myself, and regularly refer clients to her. In my experience (and that of my clients I've sent to her) she never fails to take all the time you need to discuss every issue & concern you're having, with in depth, next level knowledge on potential causes, treatments, and outcomes. Like I said, I have the best obgyns in Austin and the best primary care physician in town, yet over the past 3 months Samantha was able to help diagnose and treat two separate issues I was having that neither of my doctors could completely figure out! She also has an extensive menu of services for improving/maximizing sexual function, much of which most other medical professionals don't even know about. As for the previous reviewer's low rating and out-of-context comment, since this person admits to never meeting Ms. Thiry in the first place I'm not sure how her opinion applies or carries any weight at all. Samantha is a very open, warm person by nature, and I personally found that getting to know her and her background contributed even more to my comfort level and confidence in her work.
