This store is similar to Trader Joe's. They have a lot of seafood and meat for sale at great prices. The store is very small and does not have everything but it has the necessities. Service was good and the store is cute. Easy parking in front of store.

My husband loves this store, especially when we decide to partake in some seafood (we're dairy-free, meat free but have seafood every now and then). This is a brightly lit market with the most helpful and friendly employees. They have so many options that are sustainably sourced and organic. Everything is frozen. No fresh items to select from but it's still good quality and a variety of options. They're located in Venice off of Lincoln Blvd with free parking lot.

We spotted Wild Fork on our first day back in MdR and were quite curious. A couple of days later, we stopped in to check out the place. Wow! The store is brightly LED-lit, including the cases. Meats and seafood are mostly flash frozen and cryrovac'ed. Beef, poultry, pork, lamb, veal, and game meats, plus seafood. We returned two days later and picked up 6# of bone-in veal osso buco -- excellent value at $12 per pound, and hard to find elsewhere. I really like their Respect for the Planet. Service here is outstanding. Every associate we encountered was friendly and helpful. No problem parking behind the store with access from both Lincoln and Washington.

Stopped by this new market whose opening was about 4 months ago. Wild Fork Foods was founded in 2017 by JBS USA Holdings, Inc., a meat processing company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Brazilian multinational JBS S.A., the largest meat packer in the world. Every item in the store is frozen, but a reason in my opinion is that the store has so many different options that the shear number of choices requires the store to conserve palatability. They use flash freezing, the way they freeze all their products. Their frozen salmon, the large frozen piece, was excellent once defrosted and grilled in foil with onion, lemon and spices. Key- don't over cook. There is everything from rabbit to ravioli, alligator to quail, pizza to pork tenderloin, black sea bass to tomahawk beef steak, and foie gras to cheese empanadas which will guarantee there is something for everyone. Due to the special freezing techniques defrosting is easy for most meats, poultry and fish. Per instructions, if an item is up to 1.5 lbs place in cold water with the plastic wrap on for up to 1.4 hours. Larger items up to 2.5 hours or just place in fridge for the next day or two. Prices are reasonable and there is a free parking lot. They have several locations. What this place also is- an eclectic high end grab and go!

I don't think they take reservations. You can dine there or do take away. If you can eat there it is fun. The place is super cute with lots of tables and it is clean. The service is very good and the servers seem happy. All of their food is great. We love their calamari and get it every time we go. All the seafood is super. Now, this looks like a mid range place, but if has fine dinning prices, but it is worth it because it is all so great and much of it fresh. We love their seafood platter which is snow crab claws, fresh oysters on the half shell, tail on shrimp, Peruvian scallops, green-lipped mussels, mini Mexican shrimp, mignonette, garlic aioli, classic cocktail sauce & lemons. Grilled oysters are hard to find and boy do they make them well. They are 1/2 dozen oysters grilled with garlic butter & parmesan. They even have great fish tacos. We love the grilled Mahi Mahi which is a taco with cabbage, pico de gallo, chipotle lime aioli It comes with white rice & black beans. Everything there is great. Have the best time.

Fun! Sightings | Vibrant Beet Noodles! Toffee almonds, and toffee sunflower seeds! I sampled several items, which caught my eye, including Banana Bread Spread(pecans, hazelnuts, freeze dried bananas, raw local honey & sea salt)! Yum!! Busy Bee | It's quite the popular place to be! There were plenty of people throughout the market, even more than I expected, bright, and early at the start of the market! Hours | Each Friday! 7AM-11AM! Parking | Free spaces in the parking lot! Samples | Several throughout the market, which is a great introduction to new items and seems to get me every time, once they spark my taste buds! Haha! To-Go | Several bouquets of vibrant Flowers to add to my colorful vases, Lemons, colorful Carrots, toffee Almonds, toffee Sunflower Seeds, and Banana Bread Spread! I'm still thinking about the beet noodles, which I'll definitely snatch up next time, as I always love beets and have them on hand! Overall I had fun walking around the market, it was great interacting with people at several stands, & I happily, walked back home to the beach with a handful of flowers and goodies! It's always a wonderful idea to support local farmers, as well as have an option to select fresh fruit, and veggies! Also, exciting to find new discoveries/items along the way, & for me, fresh flowers! Let's go!

Perfect Friday Morning Farmers Market -- Fresh, Friendly, and Easy!…read more The Venice Farmers Market is one of my absolute favorite ways to start a Friday morning. It's open every Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and it's the perfect place to pick up fresh essentials for the week. What I love most about this market is how easy and convenient it is. Parking is simple, it's never overly crowded, and you can pop in and out quickly -- even before work since it opens early. All the vendors and farmers are super friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. You'll find everything here -- fresh produce (including delicious avocados), beautiful flowers, Mexican food, salsa, and so much more. It has all the basics you need without the hustle and bustle of larger markets. I usually go to the Wednesday Santa Monica Farmers Market, which is great but much busier and more competitive when it comes to parking. By contrast, the Friday Venice market is much quieter and more relaxed -- truly a hidden gem. If you live nearby and have Friday mornings free, I highly, highly recommend stopping by this market. It's such a lovely and easy way to support local farmers and start your weekend with fresh, high-quality food.

The same can be said about the cucumber salad. The standout of the evening was by far the burger. I've been to Dudley Market a handful of times, and I'd yet to try it. I'm so glad that I did. It was probably one of the best burgers I've ever had before. I highly recommend ordering this. When I reviewed the menu online the menu they offered or should I say had listed had a very wide array of different options to choose from. I was really excited to surprise him here. As we entered there was no staff around so we were just standing there for a while and a line began to form, the restaurant was not busy at all, but the bar was almost full. We were seated and our waiter was the most impersonal waiter ever, he never even said his name, to us. It was like he was a robot. Again to see that the menu was not the same was disappointing, yet our appetizer came out super fast and over all the food was bland and nothing special for the price point, yet it did come out hot, which was a plus. I had asked for the server to sing him happy birthday and for a desert to be brought out and I picked out the desert to add to the bill and he said that he could not do that service, yet before leaving 2 other servers were bringing out deserts and singing happy birthday to 2 other tables. The view was pretty, I'm sure this place is beautiful and wonderful for brunch, but for dinner this is not a place to be for elevated dining. I was better off taking him to SALT for a better dining and food experience.

I had a really great salmon for my entree with bok choy, shiitake and lemongrass dashi. Because I walked, I cheated and ordered the Black Forest brownie sundae with a pot of lavender tea. I had a great seat so I could be nosy and watch what was going on in the open kitchen. This kitchen is one well-oiled machine. The place was so crowded but from what I saw, everything ran smoothly. There's no self parking and only valet for $12 even if they are literally driving your car 1 foot away from you and even if there are spots open. As for the food, I think it's highly overpriced given what you get and its quality. Pictured are the fish and chips which I think was worth it and probably the only fairly priced item other than the bouillabaisse (sorry not pictured cause I forgot). The sand dabs were kinda sad and tiny. We were also told their chips were made in house so we decided to try the salt and vinegar chips - which were tasty but they were definitely just salt chips with the idea of vinegar. We also got the wedge salad and they gave you the option to receive it cut up which was nice. But that salad was more of a side salad for one person vs. a shared salad (note that we even ordered 2). Other than that, service was pretty good so that's the driving factor for 3/5 stars.
