It was a rainy, cold Saturday morning and we wanted to take a drive, so we headed out of Vegas…read moretowards the town of Kingman. We've often driven through on our way to Phoenix or Texas, but today, we wanted to explore "downtown". We made the loop, stopping in at the Route 66 museum, and back to the cute little yarn store my husband had read about. It was a little crowed, with about six to eight people talking, some sitting and working on a project, while others were "shopping" for yarns. The owner was busy talking with customers and working the " spinner" cranking by hand to get their selections spun into a ball. As I walked in the door, she turned and greeted me and invited me into the shop. Immediately, I felt comfortable and wanted to browse around. The owner asked me if I had something particular in mind and I told her no, just wanted to see what she had. I prefer to buy yarn but my senses, I am attracted by texture, and color, then I read the label and find out where it's from, and I then envision in my head what I'll do with it and proceed to make my selections. The owner kindly asked if I would like her to spin it for me, but seeing there are several hanks waiting decided to decline. I am checked out and she puts my selections into a "recycle" bag and given a free logo pencil. She enthusiastically asks me to return soon, which based on my experience will most definitely. Good little shop, nice selections, friendly service, with good prices.

Ms. Alanna is amazing with the Littles and Ms. Cynthia is a pleasure to talk with and is so informative. The teachers keep a daily record of your child's day to day mood and activity participation, and how well they ate and slept. My son wasn't talking much before coming here, but he already knows so many words, colors, letters, and numbers in just two months! I highly recommend this school.

I started telling kids to quit running by me, I went to the front desk to ask if kids are allowed to run from room to room full speed? The person at the front desk shrugged her shoulders, backed away from me told me, the kids are allowed to run! I qyietly told her I won't be coming back. The front desk person completely lost her composure and started screaming at me as I walked away, in front of a packed gym with a birthday party going on, WE RESERVE TGE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE! I turned and told her quietly shes getting reported to. The girl started screaming at me across the gym, saying she loves the reports, those are her favorite part! Whatever all of this means? I was just about to sign my 4 grandchildren up for lessons, thank god i saw there true colors before I joined the establishment.

There are different types and colors of clay and the attendant helped us choose the right one for our project. She was very knowledgeable .The person that was there to help us that day was, Mitzi. Even though she was busy working on a totem, she was a huge help in making sure our clay was prepared right so we'd have a good product. She continued to answer any questions we had and was very cheery. Our clay pieces were dried on a rack and put into the kiln by them, when the pieces were ready and are now waiting for my friend and I to come back in to glaze them and get them ready for firing one last time. We will pay another $30 a piece to come back and glaze (it's cheaper to buy a package) but it's a one-time project for me and the experience was so enjoyable, it was worth the money. Also, it's a beautiful facility and a happy place to visit.
