We floated the river and rode in a hummer back this weekend with family friends - all 4 adults and 4 kids (age 9-12) had an incredible time. Ian, Raquel and Wes were excellent guides. We'd do it again and I would highly encourage anyone in the area to book this trip.

Booked our family for the full day river rafting trip and was not disappointed! Our friendly driver, Kyle, took us to the launch point and our guides, Dallin and Nonabah, had everything ready for us at the river. They were both so knowledgeable about the river, geology, animals/birds, and ancient Native American culture. We saw lots of petroglyphs and Pueblo ruins and I was really happy with how much respect was shown to these ancient areas to leave no trace. There was plenty of drinking water and lunch was turkey and ham pita sandwiches. The best part: fresh, cold watermelon slices to enjoy on the banks on a hot day! I was so impressed with Dallin and Nonabah's nimbleness and confidence guiding the raft. They turned off the motor for a couple hours and rowed so we could enjoy the peace of nature all around us. We saw many Blue Herron, turkey vultures, red tailed hawks, Canadian geese, big horned sheep, horses, and more. There were a number of rapids we went through. They were just the right amount of excitement which brought smiles and laughter from my teenage daughters who are normally very grumpy and unenthused. This trip checked off a huge bucket list item for me. And now I'm thinking about a 3 day trip next time!

An absolutely awesome trip from start to finish. I was picked up from my hotel, and we launched promptly, with 6 people on board plus a delightful guide (Greg). Being my first river trip, I had no idea what to expect, but everything was provided. You really just need a camera, a water bottle, and sun protection- the rest is seen by Wild Rivers. Plenty of snacks were on hand, and when we docked in a remote part of the San Juan canyon, Greg whipped up a ton of veggies, tortillas and meat, sliced fruit and cookies, and veggies, and let us go to town. There's plenty of water on board and he had binoculars so we could see the Bighorn Sheep or anything else that catches our fancy. What you'll notice on this trip is how attentive your guide is to you- I will presume the other guides are too- he observes if you're taking a photo or seeing something that interests you, because he slows the motor or turns around to give you a chance to see or photograph, and periodically he turns the boat around for views. Come expecting to see plenty of cool fossils, Native American sites on Comb Ridge, rock art, and absolutely stunning views in near total isolation in the canyon. Apart from other boaters and some hikers, you may have the canyon alone with just the purr of the motor on the boat and the amazing sound of the river as you cruise on your way Excellent trip and they had us out and back to our hotels promptly by 5 pm. I'll be looking at a 3-day trip in the future.

The day before our tour, Julia called to let us know strong headwinds were expected and asked if we wanted to adjust our time. We already had a different morning tour scheduled, and they were incredibly accommodating with our plans. At the launch site, we met our guide Logan, and we were lucky that it was just our family of four on this tour. Husband and I wore aqua shoes and my daughters opted to wear their Birkenstock sandals and go barefoot, which was fine if you're okay with getting red mud on them. Logan was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous since I'm a beginner kayaker, but he let us move at our own pace. It ended up being a great workout while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The canyon was quiet, beautiful, and not crowded at all. We paddled across Lake Powell and into the canyon, and the cool lake water felt amazing in the warm end-of-March weather (mid-80s). They provided life jackets, offered bottled water, and Logan even took photos of us both on the water and at the end of the canyon, which we really appreciated. He also shared helpful paddling tips along the way. The entire tour lasted about 2.5-3 hours and was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend for families and beginners looking for a scenic and well-guided kayaking experience!

Our group completed the kayak and hike which were very much worth it! We needed slight accommodations and Sid and John were reassuring and supportive for both my mom and I. This tour is really for everyone and I can't recommend this tour company and John enough. Because we traveled during off season, we had the entire lake and trail to ourselves. John left much time for us to take cool pictures and was a wealth of knowledge. He made sure to engage with each person in the group and was successful in getting the more shy individuals to step out of their comfort zones. John and Sid (the other employee) made this tour worth it. They provided awesome recommendations for things in the area and also future outdoor related activities in the U.S. Be sure to pack enough water. Remember you are in a kayak and your items will likely get soaked. Luckily they provide one water proof bag per kayak which can hold your phone and camera. If you feel the need to pack more, I recommend that you bring your own waterproof back pack. I opted to go barefoot in the kayak and wear shoes on the hike. You will have to walk through water to get on and off of the boat. Do not let your size and fitness level deter you from this tour. The team is incredibly accommodating and reassuring, making this the perfect tour for all. Highly recommend this tour and either Sid or John!

It was the perfect mix of relaxing and fun--just enough adventure to keep everyone engaged without being intense. Sam, our guide, was fantastic. She made the whole trip a blast with her quick humor and steady stream of bad dad jokes (which I'll admit--I appreciated more than I should've). She kept the kids laughing and made the whole experience feel easy and memorable. The photos turned out amazing, and I'm just glad we all stayed safe during Beaver Shark season. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun, light adventure with a great guide.

We rented one of their aluminum fishing boats for the week at Rainbow Lake, and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The boat was clean, reliable, easy to operate, and made for an incredible week on the water. Between fishing, cruising the shoreline, and enjoying the sunsets and wildlife, it honestly became one of the highlights of our trip. What really separates this company from others is the customer service. Jeff went above and beyond the entire week. He even allowed me to leave the boat shoreside all week, which made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. On the second day, I accidentally charged the battery incorrectly and drained it completely -- totally my mistake. Jeff immediately responded, rushed over a spare battery just in case I needed it, and made sure we never lost time on the water. That kind of service is hard to find these days. If you are visiting the White Mountains and want a hassle-free, professional, and genuinely enjoyable rental experience, this is the company to call. Great equipment, great communication, and even better people. Jeff, thank you again for the amazing service and product.
