They used cheap products that break and grossly overcharged for them. On more than one item they described it differently than what was installed (for example instead of glass it's cheap plastic...). On top of what they paid for the house they have spent tens of thousands in repairs (it's probably over six figures at this point....) ... repairmen who come out have stated they refuse to work with Portside anymore because of the low quality products they insist on using. This alone should be telling enough.... I could go on and on with the problems we have had with the house --- but I am sure you get the gist of it --- Caveat Emptor! (Buyer Beware...)

From the initial walk through to the final touch ups, this company did an outstanding job. Let me give you a quick overview of how easy it was to work with these contractors. First, the initial sales person, Michael, was incredibly knowledgeable and able to see the vision we had for the first floor. He took a good number of photos and then met with other project managers at their office. From here, we met with an amazing designer, Halley. She answered every question I had and promised me she would guide me along the way. I had some ideas, and everything I forgot, she gently guided to a solution. I was able to pick everything from the exact sink and faucet, to backsplash and flooring. The amazing communication continued throughout the project using an app called buildertrend. We knew when the contractors were arriving for each step of the process. We were also able to ask questions through the app and received quick responses. I did have a couple of change orders, and even those were handled seamlessly. My project has been done now for about three months, and every day I love seeing the finished project.
