We had DeLeers come out to look at a small remodeling project. At the appointment, we discussed…read morebudget and ballpark estimates, and Brian felt confident we'd land roughly in the $20k range. He used phrases like "on the high side" and I can't imagine it being more than that," and made us feel assured that our budgeting was appropriate. Given that, we agreed to a deposit of $250 for him to go ahead with a formal quote, per company policy. When the proposal came back, it was $45K, which is more than double what we had discussed. While I understand that quality work and materials are costly, I don't understand how his verbal estimates were so grossly inaccurate, especially when he said he's been working there for 18 years. While I understand the deposit was intended to cover his time in gathering the estimates, and that he "doesn't work for free," a large part of his job is properly estimating potential costs for potential clients, and he did not do that. We agreed to the $250 deposit based on incredibly inaccurate numbers, and when I requested our deposit back, we were denied (twice.) While I don't think it was his intention to be deceptive, we felt swindled out of $250. I was very disappointed that they weren't willing to refund us.

Anyone seeking a Home Remodel knows how hard it has been…read morelately to find "good help", and we feel we were Very Lucky to have called DeLeers (specifically their Service Division which handles existing buildings). Quick to respond, great ideas for us that we'd never otherwise have considered, careful attention to all details, quality product selection, expert workmanship, schedule stick-to-it-tive-ness, follow-through, I could go on & on. They will probably never be the lowest bidder, but you want a job well done you will always get that from DeLeers.

They did not install by manufacturers directions. The flooring has nails popping through, bumps…read morepopping up under it, it was glued over OSB when a sub floor was required. The glue fumes are still making us sick because glue takes months to cure. Cannot use wheelchair on the floor because of bumps. Black glue cannot be covered up or removed from walls. All doors 7 of them glue spattered must be refinished. Sub floor must be installed so floor trim is flush with floor. They broke heirloom tea cups and a century old lamp was cracked. They pounded a hammer to install vinal flooring. Dddduuuuuhhhhh! ????? WHO USES A HAMMER TO PUT DOWN GLUED VINAL FLOORING??? The manufacturer WILL NOT WARRENTY THE FLOORING BECAUSE IT WAS NOT INSTALLED PER MANUFACTURERS GUIDLINES AND THEY DID NOT USE THE GLUE THAT THE MANUFACTURER REQUIRED. They damaged my property, endangered my health and the floor IS NOT AT ALL LIKE THE SAMPLE IN THE STORE. Its bumpy, lifting and still smells. I want my walls and doors painted and refinished, I want my OLD floor returned. I wish to be made whole again. You have caused undue stress and anxiety and have destroyed my OSB flooring by applying glue directly to it. YOU HAVE CAUSED ILLNESS AND INJURY FROM THESE POPPING NAILS AND FUMES FROM GLUE.

They don't deserve any stars. Long story short, a very expensive flooring was put into my kitchen…read more A section needed to be replaced because of a plumbing problem. While waiting for a matching flooring to come in I requested that plywood be laid down to level the floor, as the height difference was dangerous. I gave Carl permission to enter my home to put down plywood. When I got home he was finishing laying flooring that didn't match as was not of the same quality. He stated he "found something that matched in the garage". I said "it doesn't match...he said "I know". That was almost 3 years ago, they refuse to honor the Mannington warranty. The cheap replacement flooring that Carl put in is peeling. I wouldn't wish floormart in anyone.
