All in all I have to say I LOVE this place!. This is the second daycare my children have attended…read more Their first one left me horrified so I was extreamly scared to concider another but I had no other choice. I have to work. They have been attending this center on Poss for about a year now and I will admit I have had a few disagrements with the front staff as far as getting my paper work and information on time. They never seem to have payment updates the "book keeper" is always "running behind" which is a bit annoying. But honestly other than that I love this place! I love both their teachers. My oldest always comes home singing songs and telling me what her and her friends did for the day. She LOVES the swiming which they get to do 3 times a week. And as happy as she is to see when I go to pick her up she is not always wanting to leave. Her teachers are usually always nice and easy to talk with. Anytime I have an issue I talk to them first and it gets handled quickly. The only problem is she gets some scratches and marks that dont get documented and I get scared that if its not writen down then someone will try and say I she got them at home. So I ALWAYS point them out to both the teacher and the front personel. And try to figure out how she got them. **Usually VERY minor scrapes** My youngest LOVES the teachers his face lights up when we get to his class he gives me a kiss then off he goes into his own little world. He has never had a rash or serious injury since he sarted. He has been bite once and hit in the face with a toy. But HONESTLY parents it is to be expected! Babies fight over toys... I do not just like this place because of all the extras I love it because I can see my kids are having a good time and learning basic tasks and comprehension skills. When I see my kids excited to go "to school" I feel good as a parent. I am writing this review because I had been concidering changing daycares due to financial reasons. But all the ones I went to just gave me goose-bumps. Honestly after attending here its hard to find one that even comes close to the clean safe feeling I get when I walk into Country Home with my kids. I have decided to cut expenses elsewhere and keep them here as long as I possibly can afford. The big mind changer was when I asked my daughter this afternoon if she would be ok with moving to another "school" she looks at me and says: "mommy ok... but, I sure do like my school... I'm not wet any more mommy. I can use the potty now" That was the most honest and cute responce I could have hoped for. She has been trying for a while to use the potty but couldnt seem to time it right and would feel bad when she "wet" herself now she is potty trained all thanks to her teachers! I want to say a BIG Thank You to their teachers! You guys are AMAZING!

I checked out this daycare and thought it was a pretty awesome place to send my toddler to. I don't see the field trips advertised. What I have noticed is the constant turnover or lack of providers. I've also have had to remind caregivers to properly clean my child's rear end! I'm considering finding a residential caregiver to give the care I'm paying for.

I love their use of the communication app and love receiving updates and photos of her day. If there's ever anything urgent, they call so they're sure I'm notified and she has already learned more than I could ever teach her while working. She comes home teaching me the songs and dances she learns in class, has an amazing vocabulary and already knows so many words in ASL that I hope to continue with her. Forever grateful to LODS and their amazing teachers!

Every person there truly treats your children as their own. Ms. Jeanette, Ms. Tenni, Ms. Mellie, and every teacher there are literal angels! I remember the anxiety I had when I began searching for a daycare for my first daughter, but when I walked into Little Oaks that all completely melted away. The way learning and love is incorporated there is something that I have not seen at any other facility. My daughters and my whole family have felt so special and heard and taken care of during our time at Little Oaks and that is a gift that I will always treasure. My daughters have had such amazing hands on learning opportunities while there, including growing their own plants, milking cows with a dairy farmer, and learning from first responders-just to name a few! My daughter and I felt so confident when she started kindergarten because we had no doubts that she was ready both socially and academically because of how thorough LODS had been in preparing her. I have referred countless people to LODS over the years and I will continue to do so even when my daughter ages out this year. If you are considering childcare for your kids, look no further than Little Oaks Discovery School!

Forced to eat alone, told that she's difficult, impossible and stupid. A BABY!!!! Coming home and crying saying she's impossible and stupid. How is that acceptable? There is simply NO excuse for an adult to treat a child like this! This is disturbing beyond belief. And when brought to the principles attention, they had the audacity to accuse the parents of the child not getting enough sleep. I mean... what kind of response is this? Total lack of accountability, not acknowledging the damage done to the child and how unprofessional the teacher acted. We found out about this behavior because another student was going home upset!!! Other children were traumatized by the way the teacher had been treating their friend/ classmate! The damage done by bullying has affects that stick with people for years! Look at how many horror stories of kids ending their life from bullying. And this school is fostering it! Allowing and defending the teachers who are doing it. I am sick. Disgusted. And furious. How dare they. This is purely unacceptable and I look forward to the day karma reaches you.

From day one they were welcoming they really care about each child's education also molding them as a person. But noticed over the years, the teacher turnover rate was INSANE. (27 teachers total, left in 2024 alone and they don't even staff that many). Every couple weeks there seemed to be new teachers. My oldest moved to kinder this August and my youngest started. In August started the largest decline of a daycare I've ever seen, multiple teachers and the best director were fired and a new one replaced her. But with that, firings continued, one teacher was rehired (who had been previously fired for multiple reason, the largest being bullying children), CCS has been pulled, and there's maybe 5 or 6 classrooms actually being filled with children because so many parents have left (rightfully so). They're combining classrooms now because just as many teachers are leaving, so children don't have that consistency of the same teacher. The only reason and I mean the ONLY reason I stay was because the absolute LOVE and endearment I had for Viridiana. She is an angel/ one-in-a-million teacher you find who actually loves and cares for the babies as her own. Everyday I dropped my child off, it felt as if I was leaving him with family and I knew my child was taken care of. Other than that, it's obvious that the teachers are overworked, understaffed and under appreciated. Do yourself a favor and look at the violations on this website, more than likely, the three teachers I observed who are having these major red flag issues are still there. https://childcare.hhs.texas.gov/Public/InspectionAndComplianceHistory?operationId=1487369
