Drive-thru service was much better and much more efficient than my recent visit. The young lady who took my order and handed it to me was very friendly, outgoing, and nice. The order was perfect, and the food was delicious, as I am a sucker for a good chili dog. read more

Food and services are normally good other than the robot that takes your order. Up until last night I had nothing but good things to say about the place due to them giving me food poisoning from their chili cheese fries. Never in my life have I gotten so sick off something before. Please be weary unless you want to be like me vomiting, stomach pains that I have never endured before and diarrhea. This truly was a big time experience ruining trip for me and I will not have chili cheese fries for a very long time. read more

Their drive thru service is a robot which kept interrupting me! I had to go inside to place my order.

friendly customer service clean restaurant clean bathroom great tasting food. It's was fast and convenient read more

Wienerschnitzel is just not the same anymore. The taste is all wrong and everything is seriously overpriced for cheap weiners and fries. The employees are just as stale and their hot dog buns. Definitely a hard pass. read more

Why can't they put a sign to say NO FISH ? Make you go through the drive thru! And service is so slow!

the food was old and rubbery like it was sitting for a while. drive thru did not order our hamburger. we asked her about it multiple times and it was not in our order. when we called to complain they were argumentative and did answer the phone when I called back. this place and the service sucks read more

Food was great and fast. There was no waiting also parking was available. I would definitely be coming back to this location.

Honestly this place is so underrated. The chili cheese burger is fire and so were the fries. The service is quick and friendly. Love coming to this specific location. read more

If I could put zero stars on this restaurant I would. I was very hungry starving actually and I looked at Google maps the website and yelp and it said it closed at midnight but when I got there it was closed I started crying my belly started to rumbling and I feel like I was gonna die I was really looking forward to eating chili cheese fries I'm going on a 6 Hour Dr. And I really wanted to eat something but now I just wasted 30 minutes and I'm very hungry still. I would say something about the ambience but to be real there was no ambience because it was closed. read more

Fun fact!!! This building was going to be a Starbucks before the 2008 recession hit and the chain decided to vastly slow its expansion. It sat for a couple years until Weinerschnitzel decided to open a location here. The big selling points for this location are 1. It has a drive-thru, 2. It has a Tastee-Freeze attached to it and 3. Their food, although basic fare that you'd expect from the chain, has been consistently good for years now! Located on Highland across from Denny's. There an ihop and a Taco Bell in the plaza too. It's a set back from the street so it's not the easiest to find. This is go-to place for hot dogs, chili dogs, chili cheese dogs, Chicago Dogs, etc. Pretty much all things hot dogs and all the variations you'd expect. Pro-tip, they often feature coupons in the mail that really help add to this place's value; esp. if you have a family of hot dog loving kids! As I said before, I've found their food here to be consistently good in quality. I've never had anything bad from here, and being able to get a Sundae from the tastee-freeze menu is a great bonus! The inside is nice, with amusing comic strip wallpaper of people trying to eat the mascot. And the workers have always been friendly and helpful the 10 or so times I've been here. I'd say a solid 3 stars, with the 4th for consistency in their food and the friendly employees! read more

There's going to be no Pros or cons on this absolutely all cons let me explain 1. After placing my orders for for dogs two with no cheese three cars behind me got their orders before me no explanation.. 2. Kraut dog with mustard the bud was so wet it was an inevitable 3. My chili cheese dog had no cheese. I made it very clear when I got the bag from her that she didn't put cheese on two of the dogs that I ordered. 4. The girl made a comment to the other girl she has a dog in the car mind you my Schnauzer sat there did not get out of a seat did not bark just sitting there looking out the window the passenger window I might add. 5. I called the managers number on the window and after listening to The Prompt that then said that the mailbox was full. I will absolutely never be going back to this Wienerschnitzel I've been going there for almost 50 years what a shame read more

Several times they have messed up my polish sandwich. I tried to call one time and the phone rang and rang. The next time it happened the person took my name and told me the next time I was in they would fix it. Today they told me without a receipt they couldn't do anything. How hard is it to not put mustard on a sandwich. They today do not have the 5 dog special. It is so expensive now. read more

Came here today 5-3-19 and saw a lady taking out trash, then I saw her inside, I st first thought she was a homeless person working for food but then I see her on the other side of the counter making food, omg how grossed out I was, this woman is working in regular clothes and her hair all loose and shabby and she's making the hotdogs, no hat no uniform no cap no gloves. Just utterly disgusting. I asked a worker there who was this lady and she said the manager. I told she should put a hair net on. So this manager should be in uniform have a hair net on showing her employees a good example. read more

Myself my brother got hungry right now. So we seen Wienerschnitzel right next to us and thought OK let's get a corndog as we got to the menu options on the drive-through. We noticed they had a new tamale with chili cheese on it. To be honest I never thought they would ever have that item on this menu so we both got one each and felt skeptical at first. Took one bite into it and it was like Bam just heat. Not bad on top of all the other great childhood items I still love from your place you add that the tamales with chili cheese simply genius. It honestly might be so good that I might come by for Christmas to pick up 50 of them instead of going home to make him by myself LOL read more

We've been going there since they opened the door. There is never a bad surprise, sometimes good surprises though. The food is always fresh.

We went to the most awesome Der Wienerschnitzel in Highland after a trip to Big Bear. Yeah, I know what you are saying as you stare at me over your glasses, "She is reviewing DER Wienerschnitzel? How gauche, I only review places like the four seasons" Well off you go, even fast food can be good as long as you are not forced to talk to a clown to get your food. (Talking to a clown to get anything accomplished should be your first clue that something is amiss, ...but i digress...) Step aside food snobs, I love the delicious chili dogs and I don't care who knows. So there! This location was really new and had just opened that week. The people were cheerful and the service was great. After my chili dog frenzy came the pies de resistance, the tastee freez soft serve dipped in chocolate. Droolicious! read more

I am often mistaken for a vegetarian. Maybe it's my hippie hair, I don't know. But I love pastrami, and I love hot dogs , and I love pretzels. AND I CAN GET ALL THREE OF THOSE AT ONCE AT DER WIENERSCHNITZEL. I never went to Wienerschnitzel until maybe a month ago because the chili freaks me out. I mean really. freaks. me out. It looks like somebody took a crap on their fast food, which is completely unnecessary, to say nothing of the fact that it must be a little awkward to take a shit on one's food. But I digress. They also have tastee freeze for like $0.60. So I advise you look for coupons in the mail, get a totally non-vegetarian meal, and then go home and take a nap. read more

Rude, rude rude! I don't frequent this establishment so I had a question about an item on the menu and the drive thru window person was so rude. I told her she didn't need to be rude when I didn't see what she was talking about on the menu that's why I asked. When she handed me my food out the window she kindly shut the window in my face lol but she did warn me the drink holder may "buckle" so hold it at the bottom, that was nice. Ordered a Diet Pepsi and pretty sure it was regular and fries were cold and undercooked. I want my money back, gross. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. They clearly can't make food correctly even with the receipt telling them what not to put .

I went up to get meals for a birthday party and the inside counter, and Drive Thru were closed so I knocked on the door ans a employee told me that to get a order you had to do it thru the online app. I do not do online orders. They not only lost a very large order that day for a party of 20 but they lost a customer for good. I will not longer support any business that will not allow customers to enter a business for placing a order. It shows me that even a fast food business has no desire to serve there loyal customers, I have been going to this restaurant for over 4 years 2X's a week. now they have lost me. read more
