One of the better Wienerschnitzel locations, offering the same above average chili cheese dogs and other hotdogs. I'm not sure what the national brand is doing with its fish and chips, tamales and other non-related menu options but you can't go wrong with the original hotdogs, fries and their ice cream products. read more

December is time for tamales so when Wienerschnitzel added tamales to its holiday menu, I had to try it. Having $1 off coupon in hand made it very tempting. The coupon is good for 2 tamales so that's what I got: a classic and a Southwest (topped with guacamole, jalapeños, chili, and cheese). Tamales are served in hot dog trays. By the time I got back to the office, the bottom is all soggy (by chili) and it began to fall apart. The chili cheese flavor is so dominant, it totally overwhelmed the tamales. It felt like eating salty Mexican style hot dogs. I'd give it 3 stars. If you are confused by the 4 stars you see, well it's for its service. The guy at the counter is very friendly and patient, and unlike other Wienerschnitzel this one will give you mustard packets for free. (No I didn't take any this time. I went here to get a drink, and when I finished, I wanted a refill. However, when I went to the machine, I found out they had locked it. A customer walked in and asked, "Why is the machine off?" and the lady responded, "I don't want that customer over there to get a refill." This was really frustrating because I was looking forward to getting more to drink, and it felt like they didn't care about providing good service. It seemed like customer satisfaction wasn't a priority for them, which was disappointing. All I wanted was a simple refill, and it made the whole experience less enjoyable. I had Deborah help me and she was more than happy to explain the ingredients with a smile. I only came here because I needed a snack and there is no other fast food in this plaza area. Today I ordered a massive amount of chili dogs and chili cheese dogs for family and asked to help me with prepping them for travel, we had a long drive home.
