We will be calling on Henry again as we are expecting at the end of the year and we also love his work with families and couples. 11/10 would recommend to anyone looking for high quality personal branding headshots. His pictures have depth and meaning, and he truly cares about the specific details and the moments instead of just looking for "a pretty picture". We went to a location that he was familiar with and wasted no time in getting multiple different shots in a short amount of time which I loved. Many photographers spend a good amount of time trying to find a change of location/scenery during the shoot and it can definitely drag, but not Henry! He knows his spots! :) He makes you feel very comfortable and makes the shoot FUN!! I can't wait to shoot with Henry again and 100% recommend :)

After my sister had her first baby, she and her husband wanted to get the whole fancy package of "naked baby doing cute things." (I know you know the type). We had heard good things about Artisan and seriously, people were right. The photographer was completely patient with the crabby baby, and kept taking shots till he knew we had a lot of good choices. Also, they were very professional in the way they treated the baby, my sister and my brother-in-law. You get to pick your favorites from an array online and you can send the links along to your family and friends so they can choose which pictures they want to order as well. (or they can just ooh and aaah over how cute your baby is). They do weddings too, but that is not my experience. However, considering how wonderful my nieces pictures came out, I can't imagine that the wedding or senior pictures they would do would come out any less perfect. I mean, my niece is incredibly adorable, but the photographer really was great.

He takes plenty of shots of everything so you have more than enough to choose from AND 99% of them are awesome, so it's kind of hard to choose a few favorites. We hired an extra photographer for our wedding day who happened to be Tim's wife, Heather. They are both extremely professional and patient. Don is amazing at what he does and he truly works with you in achieving what you want for your photos. He did our engagement photos recently and it went really smooth. He made it fun and we felt comfortable taking pictures with him because he made everything go with the flow and it felt very natural! We took pictures at Balboa park and he took us around to different spots so that he could maximize the area and beauty of Balboa Park. It was nice that he wanted us to have a big selection of photos with different background and styles. When we were taking pictures Don made us feel very relaxed. I loved that he made us feel at home and it was enjoyable! He taught us different poses and made it simple as possible. It was such a fun day! Don even makes bouquets for you as a prop during photo taking!! And they ARE BEAUTIFUL!! He seriously could be a florist too! LOL The week before our engagement photos he even called me to talk about attire and it was really nice of him to talk about what would be best to wear and he really wanted us to look perfect on that day and suggested many different outfits and even asked if he could see what we got planned to see if it would go well with the theme etc. it was really considerate of him to take the time to reach out to us and care about our wardrobe and how the pictures will look with certain attire. Don sent us a lot of engagement photos and they all turned out beautifully!! I was very impressed and I am excited to work with him on videography and photography for our wedding day. Don is a very dedicated photographer and videographer. I can already see that it is his passion. He is very busy and books up fast so be considerate of his responses! He truly does try to get back to me asap and I haven't had any problems with communication the last couple months working with him. He is always awesome on calling me and touching base with me and reviewing whatever needs to be reviewed. Thank you Don!
