Almost like a fancy resort! The pros of this facility: Good food, good drink, excellent nursing staff that actually go the extra mile for their patients. Very clean throughout the entire facility. Everything was very accessible for wheelchairs, walkers and loading and unloading by the front door. The receptionists at the front desk were always warm and welcoming. Great physical therapy program, but they are tough on you. But, they have to be! Also no worries about people stealing your possessions in this facility. She's been to other facilities where they will steal anything if it's not bolted down! Cons: The only con was the varying wake up time between 4:30 - 5:30 a.m. in order to be up and ready for breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Even if you need assistance getting ready, the hurry up and wait is pretty ridiculous! It's understandable that the staff have a schedule to go by, but c'mon now! Other than that, my Mom says she was treated like a VIP there! Thanks for taking such great care of my Mom, guys! They have call lights where when the residents right it goes off for aides to hear it. Aides ignore the lights on there phone. At least six residents have died from falling because their aide did not answer the light. They keep the terrible aides and fire there best ones. The management up front is also terrible. My grandmother would never get her morning or night meds on time because the where short nurses and they DON or ADON never came to help pass the pills. SARA also does not help. SARA and MOTHER sits in the office and watch the aides suffer. This is no place your love ones should be rather it's long term or short. Do not let the cleanness fool you this place is absolutely TERRIBLE.

I had full Power of Attorney and had made it absolutely clear that a specific individual was legally barred from contact due to prior abuse and interference. Despite this, that person was allowed into the building multiple times, including an incident where he tried to remove her from the facility without medical clearance. Less than a week later, she went into alcohol withdrawal during dialysis, required CPR, and was hospitalized with ethanol in her system -- something that never should have happened inside a controlled care facility. When I flew in from out of state to see for myself, I walked right through the front door at 7 p.m., no sign-in, no check, no cameras, no one stopped me. I spent five minutes in her room -- completely unchallenged. Her room was dusty, her belongings were missing, and multiple nurses were still speaking with the individual I had legally prohibited. To this day, I've received no apology, no explanation, and not even a courtesy follow-up after she nearly died. Yet the facility had no issue charging over $15,000 for her stay. This place failed at every level: no security, no accountability, and no respect for patient safety. Their negligence set my loved one back weeks in recovery and nearly cost her her life. Families deserve better than this.

And as soon as her insurance wasn't putting out enough they wanted her out as soon as possible and tried to send her home with none of her equipment there yet. I was in occupational therapy in Florida and was healing well. I came back to Ohio in May and found a place that did PT. I was with them for 6 weeks, with no improvement. I found Jody thru google search because I was looking for someone that just did hand therapy. I came to Jody with very limited range of motion with my wrist, as well as a frozen shoulder. In a few visits, I was making noticeable improvement with my range of motion as well as pain! Jody spends an entire hour with me. She has her very experienced hands on me the entire time. It's like she can feel thru my skin and knows exactly how to treat me for each visit, and each one is different. I can honestly say that I recommend Jody Heyman 100%. She has given me the use of my hand and shoulder back. I am no longer in pain and its nice to be able to do the things that I enjoy that I was unable to do up until now. I am truly indebted to her.
