Don't go near them for a kitchen.
My mother-in-law just bought one. This is Monday 30th September and her kitchen was supposed to start last Wednesday. The only person to visit her was the Wickes installer who appealed taking £1120.00 off her for materials, he has never been seen since. She now has a kitchen delivery date of the 19th October. This will effectively leave her without a kitchen for almost a month as we have moved everything out for the pending installation.
Wickes reply to all reviews with the usual de-escalation nonsense asking us to contact their customer services. Truth is we have and also visited them in store.
We are no further forward and keep getting passed from pillar to post. Once this Company have your cash they will treat you like trash. Avoid at all costs. read more
I went to Wickes the other day as I was looking for some kind of kitchen shelving. The shop is massive and is like a warehouse, it's well laid out and spacious.
The staff were all chatting around the tills and apart from that I didn't see any other staff at all in the whole shop, and there was no one to ask for help, and no one approached me. I never ended up finding what I wanted and just left in the store in the end. read more
