Initially when you approach Wickes at Farnborough you start to think, how good of a DIY store can this place be when the outside looks so dated, is so in need of a lick of paint and requires general modernisation. Unfortunately the trend continues inside, with very dated aisles and the whole place looking like it should make use of some of its own stock and trend the place up a bit. Notwithstanding the look of the place, you can get some extremely well priced DIY items here. I required certain bathroom items and when questioning staff they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and presented me with alot of information that as a DIYer I would not necessarily have thought of (which will ultimately save me a bob or two!!).
