Even that slightly sawdust scent that goes with hardware stores. Now, this store does not carry the reputation of two that I have reviewed before. But if I lived in Wimborne, I'd be a happy camper. Collandars, graters, knives, tupperware, caddies, drainers, cookwareand then hammers, nails, screws, and thingummies. They also do garden furniture, indeed, there was a very rustic looking one on display outside. I really could have spent ages snooping around, but hey ho, time is the master of our lives. No fifth star because there seems nowher to park, so how are you going to lug your goods to the car?

From hammers and nails, to colanders and peelers, it's here. Next door there used to be a sweet shop, you know, a proper one, sweets only, scales and paper bags. On Friday I'll check if its there still. Wareham is always changing but some of the shops just go on and on.

Clocks to door mats, kettles and seeds. I used to pop in here a lot for the odd nail or seeds, but I frequent it much less now as it seems they've become a bit grouchy about returning items or exchanging. And last time I did go in I stood waiting at the empty counter for too long. Nonetheless, this is one of the oldest family run shops in Poole and extremely useful.
