He loves his humans so much and is such a cuddle bug. Everyday when I come home from work he runs up to me and sits on my lap. He's a big handsome boy as well, he's always soaking up compliments. When we got him we worried about how he'd treat his old man brother Reggie who is 11 and a small dog. (Worried he'd try to play too rough) But he listened to Reggie's body language and quickly learned that he was to be Gentle with his older brother and adapted a play style of kissing and cuddling Reggie. I love Dobie so much he's a healthy, big, handsome, goofball with a great temperament but also so much personality. When we got Dobie, working with Dylan was also very great. Communication was easy and he was able to answer all of our questions and any concerns. I could tell he cared and loved the pups and wanted them to go to a safe, loving home.

We just got Murphy back from dog training at five rings pet resort in Hanson…read more Three weeks ago we handed them Murphy, an absolutely crazy strong dog that used to pull me all over the neighborhood. Our arms were all scarred from her puppy biting, she jumped on everybody that came within 10 feet of her, and the counter surfing was unbearable. Three weeks with Mike and his staff, she is a totally different dog. She's actually a pleasure to walk, she doesn't bite or jump on people, and she actually comes when she's called. When we are having dinner we can tell her to go to bed, and she lays in bed while we eat. I highly recommend five rings pet resort, and they're located in Hanson on route 27, as well as Winter Street, Hanover MA. I can't thank Mike enough for giving us our lives back !!

When we first got Cooper…read morean Australian Shepard we were nervous to leave him anywhere but both my husband and I worked all day at the time and didn't want to leave him in the house all day. We had checked out a bunch of doggie day cares and then finally we checked out K9 Kamp. When we got there and met John instantly we felt comfortable leaving Cooper with him. He scooped Coop up and gave a big hug and checked him out, cut his nails and brushed him. I knew when we left him there he would be loved but kept in line. The daycare is super clean, John is a neat freak. He is always cleaning everything and doing some task when you are picking up or dropping off your dog. The place is huge and the dogs have a lot of area to run around in. There is also a huge heated area that has hammocks and places for the dogs to lay inside on cold or rainy days. Also, Cooper gets a bath every week and he comes home every Friday fresh clean. Cooper has now been going here for almost two years and he loves it. We now have a baby so I am home but we still bring Cooper there most days because he loves it so much and gets all his energy out. He gets so excited when we turn into the K9 Kamp drive way, if his window is open he has jumped out the window and runs to the gate or John, that is how much he loves going here. We love K9 Kamp and John and we highly recommend bringing your doggie here!

This is a really wonderful organization stemming from a brilliant idea…read more Fairy Dog Parents is a nonprofit organization that aims to prevent dogs from being surrendered by their otherwise loving families who are experiencing personal and/or financial hardship rendering it difficult to maintain the animal's care. The organization's mission is to help dogs get the food and medical care they need and to keep them at home with the families that love them and whom they love in return. Plain and simple they don't want these dogs to end up in shelters. Through Fairy Dog Parents, a dog owner who is struggling with hardship can apply via the website for assistance. If they meet the criteria and they live in Massachusetts, assistance then comes from people who go on the website themselves and make a donation. On the website you will find compelling stories of dogs who need assistance. You can choose any dog you would like or make a general donation. You can also donate needed items and a list of these things is found on the website. Each year the number of dogs helped has grown as more and more people hear about the wonderful work this organization has set out to do. FDP is hoping to expand its reach outside of Massachusetts in 2014. This is an organization every state could use. As we head into the holiday season when many more people think about making donations, Fairy Dog Parents should be on the list. Another great idea is to tell your loved ones to make a donation in your name as your holiday gift. It feels much better than just getting more stuff. It's hard to go to the website and not want to donate.

It's with a mixed set of emotions to leave a review like this because of the good: we have a…read morewonderful dog who really fit our family perfectly and had no serious issues. However, our experience (we bought a puppy in June 2015) really did leave a lot to be desired. We were impressed with the training Kerry does for puppies, which is pretty unheard of - most breeders don't train puppies very much if at all. This sealed the deal for us to buy from her. The strange logistics of arranging an appointment did not scare us away. We brought home a happy puppy, but the trouble began merely a couple of days later, when our dog was visibly sick. We ended up taking her to the vet-ER shortly thereafter and it turned out she had developed pneumonia and came to us sick per the evaluation of both our vet and the doctors at Tufts. She had to stay overnight and be heavily medicated but she pulled through. In all of this, we spent over $1K+ on medical bills, after paying the high-end breeder price that Cove Angels charges just days before. Meanwhile we were able to get in contact with Kerry only once, at the onset of the situation, where Kerry only wanted to know if the dog's life was in danger - we said it appeared not. Beyond that, and not for a lack of effort (email, phone, voicemails, text), we couldn't any response. We were expecting to discuss these unexpected medical bills from a dog that came to us sick but there was no answer on the side. Reading what other people's experience was below, it does suggest a pattern of issues of some kind, which I'm not intending to suggest involves fraudulent intent in any way - it sounds more like poor execution and/or a lack of knowledge around the things you'd expect from someone people pay thousands of dollars to for 'designer' dogs. What I can say though is that her accountability is a problem and it appears that her warranty is all walk, with no talk - and we didn't have the time and resources to invest in legal avenues to get help in that regard but it really shouldn't require that. In the end, what you pay for in a breeder is a reliable capability to select dogs who have desirable traits and take care of them in the process as well as be responsible for the consequences of those traits being as promised - in this case, this capability appears to be inconsistent at best and the responsibility part is not up to par either. To me, this adds up to 2 stars.
