Our home was so lonely and too quiet, we were in need of a sweet puppy to love (our 5 year old Alaskan Malamute included). Our daughter, who's a Veterinary Technician, was contacted by them. They found the perfect match for us. We fell in love immediately with her and she's brought our home back to life again . The people at Pacheco kennels are so helpful and kind, they keep in touch with us to make sure everything is going well. Their kennels are immaculate! You can tell that the animals are all well loved and taken care of. We are in love with the English Labrador breed and are now loyal clients of Pacheco kennels !

We adopted one the females Pacheco used for breeding and she has never been inside a house. She can't walk, bark, and she doesn't know her name. She smelled so bad I'm certain she she was never bathed. She has zero muscle tone and her stomach drags o. The ground. She was used as a machine and then tossed when she wasn't useful I personally would never go to a breeder for an animal, but there are breeders out there. They do not treat their dogs like rubbish. This girl is a mess and she'll never understand what it is to be loved.

She said she needed more time, (and more money). We agreed to another week. Avery came home, and had the same habits she had before she left. She was better on a leash, but that is not why we hired Nancy. The problem was the craziness that went along with getting her out of the crate and leashed. We asked Nancy to come back and help with that. She gave us 10 minutes, got a phone call and left. This was not a good experience, nor a good value. I do not recommend choosing Bradley's Canine Education.

We will be moving onto the advanced class. Each class you sign up for lasts for 6 weeks and meets for an hour weekly. The trainers are so knowledgeable and work with you 1:1 during classes to focus on any challenges you may be having with your puppy.

My complaint is during the final 6 weeks of training the class size doubled. We paid the same rate and received less one-on-one instruction. One of trainers made it seem like my wife and I were not doing any work with our dog at home, when in fact we were spending hours a day working on training him. I would only recommend the class if the class sizes were around 6 dogs. Additionally I was able to find a great dog trainer for very similar rates who offers in home training and schedules hour long training classes. Much better value for your money.

This is my first puppy, and she taught me how to be a good dog parent as much as she taught my pup. We first had a terrible experience with a trainer who used punishment techniques and pinch collars. Then we found Stephanie who showed us how to train our dog by positively reinforcing good behaviors rather than punishing bad ones. Now I can walk my dog without losing my arm, she doesn't nip us anymore, she is way better around the house and I now know how to keep teaching her.

We can't speak highly enough of David and how much he helped our family. My boyfriend and I have a…read more2 year old Bluetick Coonhound, Charlie. Starting when he was about 6 months we were having behavioral issues with him in the home. It started with resource guarding and food aggression, and overtime escalated to aggression toward us. We constantly walked on eggshells around him. It even got to the point of when we would come home from a walk Charlie wouldn't let us take his collar off. He would growl, snarl and bare his teeth, and turn on us. We had to use a baby gate as a "shield" to get to our bedroom. We didn't feel safe in our own home and no other trainer was able to help us. I had been bit twice up to this point. We debated rehoming Charlie, had almost lost all hope, broken hearted, and felt like we failed him. Upon reaching out, before we even met David, he reassured us he would be able to help. During our in-person evaluation with David he told us Charlie is a dominant dog and he is at the top of the pack. We needed to train with Charlie to regain our place at the top of the pack. Not only would it strengthen our bond with him but we would feel safe again and regain control of our home. Charlie spent two weeks at Trouwe Hond and came home yesterday. The confidence we have gained with David's training can't be put into words. Charlie is completely different, he is happy again and our family is whole again. We are SO grateful for the time and dedication David gave not only Charlie but us as well. We still have a lot of training ahead but we are so excited to continue learning with our boy.
