My favorite is the Baby Back sandwich. It has baby back flakes, corn, jalapeno and sour cream. The baby back flakes go really well with the jalapeno. While you're happily eating, you'll just realize you ate a jalapeno because it felt a bit hot. The Paradise sandwich is another winning treat. It's the kiosk's take on a Hawaiian / tropical dish. If you're not satisfied with just a hot dog sandwich, you can even order cute little corn dogs! Mr. Franks remain to be a top contender when it comes to movie food.

Go for it! But, in my opinion, the definite Must Try here are their Hotdogs! All their hotdogs are bacon-wrapped and deep fried! YUM! I recommend the Chili Dog (Php220) and the Kimchi Dog (Php190). It was in Jupiter street and we found parking around the area. We saw their big sign that said "Bacon & Burgers this way". When I took a bite of their hotdog, I was enlightened. I tasted the hotdog sandwich's full potential. I experienced Lazy Bastard's BACON WRAPPED hotdog in a bun and topped with a load of toppings. I particularly found their Con carne and parmesan hotdog sandwich to be their bestest. On my next visit, I'm planning to try their AVOCADOG. On the other hand, I found their burger to be okay.

The generous toppings were good as a complement to the sausage, yet it overpowered the chicken meat, and I could hardly taste the chicken in it. The ice cream drops were FTW, a must-have sweet finale. Ordering was easy, but they could use a minor tweak and put up an "Order here" sign or possibly re-align the ordering process to avoid confusion whether they have a table service or a counter service. Though nostalgia isn't the only reason why I like it, I like it because it is tender and it is juicy! I also like the bite sized ones. The meals come with small Iced Tea and fries. And since they're a sister outlet of Hotdog On Sticks, this diner also offers my favorite Nathan's all-American hotdogs. These are not your regular hotdogs. These aren't the kind that get slapped between a bun, slathered with mustard and ketchup then served. These are interesting dogs. Schmidt's gimmick is that the fixings that go on their dogs are based on different countries. My personal favorite is the Coney Island Chili Dog (hold the jalapenos) but they have other things too. The Julius, for example, has Bacon, Caesar Salad dressing and parmesan cheese. The Aucklander has ailoli, mint jelly and tomato relish. You get the idea. These hotdogs are sliced in such a way that they split when they open, making sure that all those toppings work their way into the dog and the bun with every bite. It's pretty brilliant, really. They've also got good snap to the casing which is a must for any decent, non-TJ hotdog. The only downside is the price. For a meal and a drink, be prepared to shell out around 200php. Good thing they're pretty big so you don't have to worry about them not being filling enough.

It's a super popular tourist attraction in Los Angeles due to it's large list of celebrity customers. When we went we waited in line for an hour for a hot dog. However the hot dogs they offer here are fantastic and tasty. I ordered the Breakfast All Day Dog 250 PHP which has: Bacon, crispy potatoes, fried egg, cheddar, hollandaise, and ketchup. It tasted delicious! I'm not sure if they even have this combo on the menu at the L.A. store. My dad ordered the Don't Mess with Texas Dog and my mom got The Hollywood Legend. Both of them really enjoyed their food which is surprising since my dad is a picky eater. In addition to Hot Dogs, they also sell burgers and a few rice dishes. The only thing is that they don't sell soda so you have to go the bar for that. Overall, a great place to grab a bite!
