My website was severely damaged by malware and hacking. I found Saill on yelp and gave her a call. She promptly returned my call. Her rates were fair and she gave me an estimate to repair the site. She had the site back up and running in minutes. She also suggested that I change servers. She helped me do this saving me $55 a month. I would highly recommend Saill. I am so pleased and very glad to I found her on Yelp. read more

I worked with Saill of Wicked Clever Designs, and she was excellent. Designing web pages inherently involves some combination of technical understanding and aesthetic design, and Saill was able to handle all aspects of my project with accuracy, professionalism, and kindness. I liked the design of my website but I wanted to make it work better for me. So, I showed it to Saill White. Saill enthusiastically gave me a "website assessment" which opened my eyes to what was possible. She helped make my website even more unique to me by suggesting placement of particular kinds of photos, adjusting margins, reformatting my video and generally tightening up the whole look. And, she did it all for a reasonable price. Plus, she added a metrics function so I can judge my website's effectiveness. I'm totally satisfied with the results and am happy that I found someone who eagerly embraced my website with expert programming skill and capable design eye to make it all work together while keeping to my budget. read more

I've been working with Saill of WickedClever for almost three years now. Found her on Craigslist, and WOW, is she great! She's a code-master; totally technically proficient. She's professional, prompt, and affordable. If you're a total novice, she can design your whole site. If you're doing your own design, she can help you work out those difficult technical details you can't seem to crack and let you do the rest as you like. Plus, she has a great sense of humor and great integrity. I'm so lucky I found her. read more

Wicked Clever, indeed! I have worked with Saill White of WickedClever Designs on two websites, and I can recommend her 100% for her superior quality beautiful work, professionalism, ease, fair prices, and flexibility. For my personal website, Saill provided a "brochure" site with many easy to navigate levels and a lot of content. I love the clean look. We worked together to develop imagery that reflects who I am. I love that I can edit content myself, and that when I need a bigger change (such as adding a new page or picture), Saill can do that speedily. For my book site, I needed something to entice readers not only to read my novel, but to become invested in the whole world/experience the novel offers. Plus, I needed to be able to sell books/merchandise - and I am not a bookseller or merchant. Again, Saill was amazing to work with. I sent her some images (the book jacket, author photo, and a few snaps from my iPhone), a few pages of text, and she quickly and elegantly gave me a site that I love and that represents my novel wonderfully. The whole process felt creative and fun. I give her my wholehearted recommendation. read more

Perfection! I can finally breathe. I work at a Bay Area non-profit and was given the task of overseeing a complete overhaul of our website. This included getting evaluations, putting out an RFP, and working with the designer to create the site of our dreams with the ability for me, a non-tech person, to maintain it. Enter Saill White of Wicked Clever Designs. I originally found Saill by reading many reviews of web designers on several sites. She gave us a complimentary audit of our existing site and her feedback adroitly articulated what we felt was lacking in the site. She submitted a complete, well-thought out proposal that addressed issues we hadn't even considered. Her bid was within our budget and we selected Saill's proposal over about a dozen including one from a person known to do good work by one of my colleagues. From the moment we had our first meeting I felt that we had selected the right person. Saill really is "Wicked Clever," the name of her business. She is pleasant, creative, capable and she delivers. She immediately "got" what our organization does and is about and created the perfect site for us. She listened to what we wanted and had that lead the process. The site is warm, welcoming and performs many functions. That Saill is a programmer in addition to being a web designer was key in her being able to rock our site. Saill took a chaotic site with too much information on it and transformed it into a well-organized site of almost 30 pages that is simple to navigate. She wrote code to create a complex calendaring and registration system that our previous site lacked. She made sense of another project that necessitated being able to collect funds for other classes and provide access to videos. She made the site usable for our clients, donors, prospective and current volunteers, helping professionals and the general public. Saill created a WordPress site that I can easily maintain and has trained me and supported me through this process. She also customized all of the coding so that we are not dependent on the WordPress plug-ins so any changes to those will not affect our website. At the beginning of this project I didn't know that this was an important thing that could affect the functionality of part of the site at any point in the future. It is an understatement to say that I was overwhelmed by everything involved in getting our site completely redone. Saill made this project a breeze. Every time a new issue came up Saill addressed it as an exciting challenge. She was responsive and delightful to work with. She delivered much more than promised. As soon as I'm soloing with all the maintenance of my work site I'm going to hire Saill to redo my own website. Years ago I hired a professional to create my site and although it is beautiful she didn't listen to the very first and most important thing I said and created it in a platform that I cannot access or update. You know how when you find that PERFECT person you just want to tell everyone? Well, Saill White is definitely on my PERFECT list.I hope that you have the good fortune to be able to work with her. read more

Saill White of Wicked Clever Designs is fabulous. I can't count the number of times I've emailed her at an early onset sign of panic because I was locked out of my WordPress site or when I've wanted to add photo images beside my blog posts or couldn't figure out how to change my own PayPal button prices. Whatever the request, Saill has 100% of the time responded quickly, graciously, and helpfully. She has saved me so much stress over the little things I had no clue how to figure out on my website. She also always gives me tips on how I can manage things on my own next time. She is extremely patient - never makes me feel silly for my cluelessness! - and extremely generous with her time (her pricing is more than fair) and knowledge. I love having Saill as my go-to web person. She's a fantastic support, and I totally recommend her. read more

Saill is a marvel. She is patient, timely, responsive, thoughtful and incredibly helpful. A few years ago, I signed on to work with Saill after I had a negative experience with another web designer. She quickly repaired the kinks (one of which was that my site wasn't SEARCHABLE) and stuck with me - side by side - as she taught me how to make changes on my site on my own. I am a one person business with a small budget and she helped me to make the best out of my time/money with her. I have been able to manage my newly improved site on my own without support as a result of her careful guidance and incredible patience (I am NOT a techie). Now, FOUR YEARS LATER, I hit a stumbling block, emailed her out of the blue, and not only did she respond, she had already fixed the problem by the time she had written me back. Amazing. I can't recommend Wicked Clever enough. Unlike me, START with them! read more

My dear Yelp user, you need to stop searching for designers and give Saill a call. She just finished designing an absolutely gorgeous website for me. Saill went the extra mile for me, was incredibly patient, and even took the time to explain to me how to update the page. She is thoughtful, patient, brilliant, and creative. If I were looking for the cheapest designer out there--I'd hire someone with no experience who would create a cookie-cutter website. Frankly, I could do that on my own. But I was looking for something beautiful, artistic, and a site that would stand out. What Saill created was everything I could have hoped for. Sure, you can spend less--but why? A website is the face of your business/organization! As you can tell, I am thrilled that I hired Wicked Clever designs. It was a pleasure dealing with Saill as well. She was never condescending, even though I know so little about websites. Whenever I go to my own website, I smile--hire Wicked Clever and you will too. I am a small business owner. I built and currently maintain my own Wordpress website. I knew I had farther to go to get my website to look optimal but was hitting a wall with my DIY skills. I met with Saill who helped me implement several bells and whistles, aesthetic tweaks, and adjustments to my website and blog that make me feel so much better about what I am putting out there. She also coached me on simple ways to enhance the SEO of my website. I'm looking forward to working with Saill again when I implement a password-protected client library with her help! read more

I've gotten two websites done by Saill and she is the best. I've tried other designers and they either have no idea how to do computer design or they are snobby designer who judge your design sense. Saill has a great sense of design, does websites really quickly and affordably and she's super easy to work with. I would never hire any body else. Ever. read more

I am so pleased to add my vote of total confidence for the professionalism and creativity of WickedClever Designs. From the first consultation to the eventual launching of the e-commerce site we contracted for, the experience of working with Saill White was a real pleasure and - WOW: ultimately, stress-free! Clearly, she's passionate about her work and genuinely enjoys the very process of crafting a beautifully organized and well designed web-site. We contracted to convert a site originally built in Flash over to Wordpress, and initially, I raised several concerns and worries about this process. Saill listened attentively to my list of priorities and concerns and addressed each issue with a thorough technical explanation - but in 'plain english' rather than in a language stuffed with tech-terminology that would have been way over my head - thank you! Next (and even better) each issue articulated quickly turned into "issue accomplished"! Because I was providing psd files and had a specific layout for the site already in mind, her patient, knowledge based counsel all the way thru the project was so welcome. It was striking how her coding skills and obvious love of problem solving translated into such excellent design advice, too. Although I never saw the description "Art Director" in her knock-out impressive bio, the title could have easily applied in my experience... She helped me to think more clearly about the site, and to focus in on the most direct route to conveying our basic intent and message. Her good-natured communications were great, too - thoughtful, sometimes funny and always friendly. Also, it turned out that Saill's coding-skills were far more extensive than we'd actually hoped for, so her SEO expertise was an added and hugely appreciated bonus. Not only did she set us up with a site that immediately produced visitors and customers, she even patiently explained how to track traffic charts and monitor the site in depth. Before finding Saill White for this project, we had a couple of unfortunate false starts with web-site builders found through Craigslist. Although all were well-meaning, I do not believe any came even close to the level of expertise of WickedClever Designs - our good fortune in choosing this company stands out all the more due to those past experiences and we're eager to schedule and sign for a few more sites, as well. In sum: our site launched exactly within the time-line presented and the balance due was the same as originally proposed, too: professionalism displayed from start to finish. Many thanks to WickedClever Designs ! read more
