We had so much fun at Wibit. It is great to see people of all ages playing together. We went early in the day on a weekday, and I highly recommended this strategy. Some structures are challenging to climb, especially with the life jackets, but the challenge makes it even more fun. And even some little kids were having a good time. When one area began to deflate, they quickly fixed it. After about two hours, we were all exhausted in a great way. By the time we left, it was getting busier. I think we had a five star experience, but if you plan to go at a busier time, be careful with the littler kids and have some patience. Fun experience in a gorgeous setting. read more

Wibit - Water park - Water Parks Near Me

We accidentally found out about this beautiful little gem in the middle of Ruidosa yesterday. The Area around it is beautiful and really relaxing for parents to sit down to the side and have a lemonade and relax while their children wear themselves out. The waterpark like an obstacle course with a trampoline, pyramid, launching pad, and so much more. The cost is $20 which I thought was fair there's no other activity around it like it, paid lifeguard available and endless time to play. The manager (owner?) was named Coach and was beyond kind and sweet. You can tell he likes working with kids and a good first time employer for teenagers. When we found out that we only have 45 minutes to play (like I said, we found out about this place by accident) AND that it was my son's birthday, he let him go in for free for the last 40 minutes! My husband and boys went to the Wibit and the Dam house after hiking the Grindstone Loop. We rented a kayak, paddlebaords, and paid for the Wibit for our boys. Ten minutes on the lake and it was thundering, so an alarm sounded for all patrons to come in. We were fine with that, of course, and the manager at the Dam house even refunded our money without asking, as he said they would most likely be closed the rest of the day with the storm. 5 stars for The Dam House. "Eric" at the Wibit, however, told me to mention him when I left a bad review in an arrogant tone because he didn't care. The boys never even touched the Wibit and we were told AFTER purchase that they would close down at 2:30 if the lightning persisted. We were told we could back at any time if there was a storm. Communication is key. I will be reaching out to my credit card company for no services rendered. Buyers beware. read more

We were excited to try out the wibit play area on Grindstone Lake in Ruidoso; but after shelling out 60 dollars, being told we couldn't get in the water because one of their life guards was late, then being told there was a lightening strike 10 miles away, then we waited for over an hour and as the storm was rolling in, they would not even consider giving us a refund. (We arrived before it even opened and rain was not predicted until afternoon) Horrible policy for customer service. I can understand wanting to keep everyone safe, but if we haven't even touched the water, then there should be a refund policy that encourages people to return. Also, there was trash everywhere around the lake. Not sure if we will be coming back in the future. read more
