I hired Royal Tree and Palm for full-service yard maintenance at my rental property for about a…read moreyear. From the start, they knew I didn't live at the property and that my tenants--who work from home--would be there. I expected regular upkeep: mowing, trimming, weeding, and general yard care. Recently, my tenants let me know the yard had been severely neglected, especially the backyard. When I brought it up to Brandon, the owner, he said the crew hadn't accessed the backyard in weeks due to a locked gate. Instead of simply knocking on the door or informing me, they just skipped it--without saying a word--while continuing to charge me for full service. After canceling the service, I hired a new company to assess the yard. The photos they sent were disturbing: weeds overtaking the gravel areas, a palm tree broken in half due to decay, and no signs of proper maintenance--none of which was ever reported to me. My tenants also mentioned the crew is usually on-site for no more than five minutes. The only consistent effort has been a quick, sloppy weed-whacking around the grass edges. Debris, leaves, and weeds pile up around the mulch and patio unless the tenants clean it themselves. As an out-of-town homeowner, I trusted Royal Tree and Palm to do their job and communicate. Instead, they delivered poor, inconsistent service and took advantage of the fact that I wasn't there to see it. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

Just used them a second time to cut two 40-foot crepe myrtle back to the knuckles. They're very close to the pool cage, so I needed a professional to do the job with care... they didn't disappoint They did a wonderful job with care and respect, cleaned up completely and again, didn't break the bank. I highly recommend Heather, Jodi, and their crew. They're respectful, accommodating, and all-around professional. We've got a lot more work to have done and won't hesitate to call them again.

They also cut the limbs overhanging the fence from the neighbors side. Everything was ground down and they did a great job with the general clean up Including making sure all the pathways were clear. It was a 3 day project and that crew was definitely on the ball and very skilled. They also communicated as necessary to make sure they could get into the property spaces as needed. They were very easy to communicate with and to coordinate. Only ding was that a vent pipe broke during the process and I'm still waiting to get that fixed this week-- so once that's done I'll update as needed.
