I've had many birthday meals here too, and the food is just amazing. The duck roast is something that I especially recommend, but for something a bit more exotic, I'd suggest trying the guinea fowl. Okay, the dishes aren't cheap, but the richness of the meat is absolutely amazing, and well worth the extra pounds. There's also some truly delicious starters such as prawn cocktail. In fact, I don't think I've ever eaten any average food here, it has always been mouthwatering; Compliments to the chef! I want seconds! In the summer, the garden at the back is a great place to grab a refreshing pint, especially when the sun is blaring. The staff here are very welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable, whether you're sitting inside or in the garden. I don't think there's anything bad to be said about this pub, the décor is old fashioned with wooden beams, and the atmosphere, clientele and aesthetics make the whole experience both a relaxed and enjoyable one.

This place is no longer called the Herons Nest but the Kings Arms and has really changed for the better. There are comfy sofas and armchairs, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It would be wise to book if you are thinking of coming here for something to eat, as this place is popular. I once rocked up on a Sunday afternoon, not having booked a table and was told that the food would take an hour and a half to arrive! The pub is located by the Grand Union canal, and the outside seating is popular when the sun is shining. There is ample parking too, but again the car park can get busy at the weekends. A superb place to hang out with family and friends.

We sat in the pub area around 1pm on a weekday and it was buzzing. The restaurant was casual, English pub, but had a very nice, upscale feel to it. They have quite a few beers on tap and since we were there in winter, they had mulled wine. We got the chicken club, fish and chips, and 2 people got the pan seared sea bass. Everyone was very happy with their lunch. I ate the club and was very happy with my meal. The service was great as well. If you are flying through on the M6 and are looking for a break to grab a good meal, stop in at the Littleton Arms.

It's hard to review a single time, as I've been here so often I forget to check in. The bar is well stocked, isually a good range of beers and ales on tap, including one of my summer favourites, frulii. They even have prosecco on tap, good gin list, which is always a fab selling point for me, and a good range of wines, spirits, and a dinky but varied cocktail list. Pick and mix of sweet, nuts, wasabi peas etc behind the bar, and excellent tasty bar bites, cake, fudge, allsorts on the bar, which always has arrangements of fresh flowers from across the road. I am yet to have a disappointing visit here. Honestly, nights out, Chrostmas eve drinks, meals as a family, as a couple, as huge tables of extended family, the food is always great, fresh local produce, hearty meals, great range of meat, game, veggies, your lot. I would be surprised if someone couldn't find something they liked on the menu. Hot drinks are great too, afternoon tea is good value and super tasty, and it's changed hands a couple of times in the 18 years I grew up there, and the prices have risen ofc, but it's always been pretty excellent, with great rooms and breakfast to boot too. Would happily recommend to anyone, and worth travelling to if you like your good pub grub!

The front of the pub has a small area of tables, but these are mere yards away from the busy Pershore Road, so not exactly ideal. The outside area at the back of the pub is a different story. It overlooks a manicured bowling green and is far enough away from the Pershore Road for the traffic to be more of a dull hum than a nuisance. On a few occasions when we have sat out here a 15-piece Jazz band have been rehearsing in a hall adjacent to the pub, which makes for a pleasant change to Coldplay on the jukebox. The food is OK and the bar is well-stocked, with some decent cask ales and a fair selection of lagers. Overall, what this place really lacks is any sense of it being someones local, which is strange given it's location. There is not another pub for at least half a mile in any direction and the place is surrounded by houses, yet it retains the somewhat soulless feel of an bar in an airport, which is a shame as the size and architecture of the place suggests it could be so much better.

Last time I was here I sat outside - it's great that they have an outdoors, but compared to the size of the indoors it's a bit pathetic - a few tables in a car park basically.
