I'm based in Atlanta and couldn't be there in person so it was important to me for the arrangement to be beautiful. My friend called me and said she was in tears when she saw the flowers, she said they were beautiful and fresh. She said she noticed them from afar because they were so pretty and walked over to see them up close, she read the card and started crying. She said seeing the flowers meant a lot to her and her Mother. This Mother's Day, I was traveling and unable to go inside the store like I normally do to personally select flowers for my mom. Since the online ordering format had changed and only showed a flyer with price points and descriptions instead of actual arrangement photos, I decided to call in for assistance. Unfortunately, the person who answered my call Saturday morning was extremely rude, condescending, and unpleasant. I was very disappointed, especially after supporting Kuhn's for so many years. To be treated that way during such an important holiday was truly disheartening. Because of that experience, I decided to order from Dinsmore Florist instead. Their website allowed me to see actual photos of the flowers I was ordering, and they delivered my mom's flowers in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. They have now gained a new customer. It is very disappointing that after more than 20 years of giving Kuhn's my floral business, one negative and disrespectful interaction has caused me to take my business elsewhere.

If you need it, especially when it comes to cards for all occasions and holidays, they got it! I tend to spend more time at Gretchen's Hallmark when Holiday Season, Valentines Day, and a birthday or two arrives. And whenever I visit, the store appearance and the stellar courtesy of all those who work here has been nothing short of outstanding! I see changes and some new personnel when I visit at times, and they have been highly courteous too, which means they were trained well! Hallmark stores are a place I like to walk around to see what catches my eye and would potentially like to purchase. Well, that always happens during the Holiday Season! The sports ornaments are always a favorite of mine (I have 4 Captain America ornaments! LOL). It's hard to be disappointed about anything in this Hallmark shop. It seems to have it all. The items here, and some like the glass figurines, do appear to be pricey, but there are ways to get your cost down. The most notable way is to sign up for the rewards program at the register. It's quick and easy, and you'll aways get notified when there is a sale coming or have a $2 coupon off for your next purchase. Good to superb deals are there to be made. They were in their jamming out to Stevie Wonder and I believe there was a trunk show as well. I wasn't the only one shopping for their Mama as it was quite busy and the Mother's Day card aisle was receiving alot of traffic. I looked through a bunch of cards and they didn't say what I wanted to say but then I found one that made me emotional and I said "Yup, this is the one". I also saw some really soft pajamas with strawberries and blossoms on them and I couldn't resist, I got them for myself. The ladies behind the counter were so kind. They empatically said those are THE BEST pajamas EVER and how they had 4 of them. Dang. They must be nice. Definitely should come here once in a while to see what they have.

After my very first delivery on Mothers Day from Southern Grace being flowers that died the very…read morenext day I would not have used them again. However, Ace Hardwares amazing Florist has closed its doors and my husband decided to try Southern Grace again due to their proximity to our house. While Ace hardware had FREE delivery within so many miles, Southern Grace is much closer to us and there was a $15 delivery fee. I do hope they will consider adjusting delivery fees based on location of delivery. The flowers my husband had sent to me were absolutely beautiful. We have to be very careful due to us having cats and he made sure to mention no lilies. The flowers were beautiful the day they were delivered as well as 4 days later they still look fabulous. I am not sure what he paid for them to determine value, but I do know that the $15 delivery fee was a bit excessive for a 2.5 mile delivery. I do hope they learn from the bad reviews and throw out or donate flowers that are borderline, rather than put them in bouquets people pay top dollar for.
