Do you think you'd get that type of service at a box furniture store? They suggested having our sectional custom made to exactly the size, color and material we wanted. The sectional we purchased was hand made here in the US which is great to keep someone here in the UNITED STATES employed!!! They have promised delivery in less than 2 weeks, can you believe that? I can't cause my previous Ashley purchase took at least 4 weeks to be delivered and it was sent piece by piece. Already awate sofa was coming a week after the bed. We were told that we would get cal 2hrs prior to set delivery time for today 10/10. No call came. So i call and soeak with customer service. He says the bed is backordered. So i speak with store as i was never notified about this. I was told by the store that they will get hold of the warehouse and see about getting our bed delivered on 10/10. Got a text from store associate advising we will get our bed 10/10 between 6pm - 10pm. Well here it is Saturday 10/10 9:30pm no call no show. Do not have much faith about getting my bed tonight in the next 20min. I let the store know that i dropped some $$$ on this bed and i won't see it or sleep on it until it gets delivered. When will that be?????? I won't say next week for sure. Because again no faith. I told the store that i believe some compensation is due for this. They say they can refund me the delivery cost. Okay better than nothing. But then to say it will be delivered between 6pm and 10pm and nothing. Im about ready to cancel the entire thing. Get my money refunded and go someplace else that costs less. Reconsider going toi Ashley Furniture on 10th St. West in Palmdale. They only care about their money not the customers.

That was well over a month ago, and now they say it won't be in until the end of the month at least. I've been trying to cancel my order for a couple weeks. First I get told that I have to speak to Nolan, then he tells me that I have to speak to a manager, but the manager is rarely in the building. Today I called to see if a manager was in the building and was told no. I asked if they knew when a manager would be in and was again told simply, "No." I explained my problem to whichever salesman I was speaking to, who told me that I need to speak to the "Customer Service Person" Aida who will be in tomorrow. I'll give them one last chance to make this right and if that doesn't happen I'll be speaking to my bank to get the amount I've put down on this theoretical dresser reversed. UPDATE: I spoke to Aida and she advised me to stop by the store today, 6/17, and I'd be be able to speak with her and the owner and proceed with the refund. I got to the store today, unfortunately without my copy of the receipt. Aida (not the store owner) advised me that without my copy of the receipt, the best they can do is store credit. This was never explained to me at any point during any conversation I had with any member of staff until today. What good will store credit do for a shop that's supposedly "going out of business" according to their signs? I'm now disputing the charges with my financial institutions. If this store is really going out of business, I can see why. If not, that's a really low marketing tactic and I cannot recommend strongly enough taking your money elsewhere.
