These were piercings number 16 and 17 for me, so I pretty much know the ropes, and this was a jewelry issue for sure. If you go to get piercings here, make sure to advocate for yourself and ask for the longer bars and you should be good.

Unprofessional, refusal to fix an embedded piercing unless I paid for it when it embedded by being pierced with too short of a bar, something not my fault.. and both piercings were pierced at improper angles so now I can't stretch my second lobe without risk of tearing. Had to go to a different piercer to fix it who confirmed the bar was short, fixed it up and got me a longer bar for free, and confirmed the angle was incorrect. And way over priced.

And I paid $150 for this, which is the advertised price, but insane for how badly these turned out, it also took an hour for all of them.

We decided to stop here and the lady told us it could be 1.5 to 2 hour wait. Perfectly fine with us. We ended up getting Jonathan to do our tattoos. Unknowingly to us he is the owner. Best experience ever!!! He was very professional and precise with what we wanted. He even sang while he was tattooing us and it made the pain less. I highly recommend him and am thinking about what yo get the next time I travel home.

Botched Septum Piercing -- DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE…read more The piercer assured me she was able to do septum piercings and she was confident in the placement of my piercing. When the piercing was happening, it took her a long time to get the needle through, and it hurt more than it should have, but because it was my first time getting a facial piercing I didn't know what to expect. A week later, I came in a second time because the piercing was too tight and it was creating indents in my nose, and she widened the piercing for me. At that time she didn't note that anything was wrong with my piercing, but she did encourage me to manually move it into the proper downward position because mine was stuck sticking straight out. I tried moving it into the position as directed but it wouldn't stay. Initially, I thought it was an anatomy thing, but after looking up similar cases online, I began to worry it was pierced improperly. I sought a second opinion from a more experienced piercer and she confirmed that Serenity had pierced my nose not through the sweet spot, but instead through the hard cartilage. Now I have to wait for my septum to heal fully before I can get it repierced properly. Two stars instead of one because they did give me a full refund and Serenity seems like a genuinely kind person, but I don't believe she should be doing any piercings until she does another apprenticeship.

I have gotten a total of probably 15 piercings here and only had two that gave me trouble, but it was not related to the care I was given at all, sometimes your body just doesn't react well to them and you have to take them out. Andy is my go to but I know that Renee and Kenny are awesome, too! Absolutely recommend Splash to everyone I know talking about getting a piercing. I lived an hour away and made the drive every time, then I moved to Missouri and still get pierced here when I come "home" to visit. Took my friend for her tattoo and Jake Miller was so cool that I scheduled an appointment for myself, even though I splurged on ink somewhere else. The girl that works the counter is a sweetie too.
