Wow, we were pretty disappointed tonight. We really enjoyed this show previously, but this time, it was a let down. The food was inedible. We were one of the first to be seated & served. The food was room temperature, the chicken was so dry and tasteless. My pork was cooked into a gray 'hay-like' substance, my husband's pork was less gray with a bit of pink. The green beans were woody. The potatoes were ok, but again room temperature. I had to ask for a roll, as my plate didn't have one. This was also served room temperature, pulled out of a bag, I imagine. We had to ask for silverware, my husband had to go find napkins, as we had none. We never had any server check on us or acknowledge us once they brought the food. The servers handed out take out containers, but did not offer us one, so again, my husband had to go hunt one down. I thought the dog might eat the chicken I pulled off the bone. The cake was ok, husband liked it, I took the icing off mine as it was nasty. The show was where the two stars come in. We did enjoy the show, but it is pretty slapstick & lots of yelling. Two of the performers are entertaining, two others are 'ok' and one, I think she was maybe a fill-in that has never done this show until tonight. It seems very minimal effort has been put into making this a good show. Again, it's cute, but not great. The funniest part of the show happened to be the interaction of one the audience 'suspects' and the female deputy (She truly carries the show). We will be taking this off our list for returning. It's a shame that it has gone so far south. The venue was only half-full, so word apparently has gotten out, as it is Memorial Day weekend and should be busy! read more

This show could use some improvement...slapstick humor was cute but the other Branson western themed murder mystery is in a different league better. We arrived early and found ample parking for the off season, in season they run shuttles to remote parking. We have to eat Gluten Free and even though we were told that was not a problem. No one seemed to know or care what that is. Everyone else was served and wife and I sat there until I asked a cast member who told me to have a seat but did nothing to remedy the situation. I was finally able to flag down help who was serving another couple and we were brought vegetarian meals! So much for service! We finally got a side of pork and were able to enjoy the meal. The cast seemed focused on the play but not helping guests. We sat next to a couple at another event who had had similar no service experiences on a different night. Not awful but certainly needs some help and some training. I am usually very generous with the praise especially for food service. read more

Whodunnit! It was a great experience for the family. The food was just bland but I wasn't expecting anything too notch. For the price it could have been a little better. Service is kinda odd as tendering can be chaotic and then servers are just carrryinf around plates to people sitting. The show was amazing. The whole family loved the hill Billy style comedy. The facility it's held at has a lot of other things to do. We showed up a little early and they have a play ground and some goats you can feed. Only knock stars because the food, neither kid ate any of the plate and that's not typical for my son. read more

It's kinda OK. After filing in, you grab a drink to your assigned seat. There's a little warm-up from the cast and the food is served. The food is fine. Yeah, fine. Maybe a little below average, but it's the show you really there for, right? This is the sort of show that is better when the audience gives back energy. I think this audience was OK, even for the cheesy lines and patter. There is some audience volunteers, which is certainly a risk for stage performers. I think the volunteers this night were a mixed bag. Some of them really hammed it up. Some others were low-energy or did not know what was really going on. The stage actors acquitted themselves nicely, improvising past the poorly-picked volunteers. The actually story was not great. Maybe it was too simplistic? Or maybe they had to shut it down early cause the volunteers were too unpredictable. The listing said 2 hours and even with a late start and intermission, we definitely were not there for 2 hours. read more

Overall great experience. Food was exactly what I was expecting, nothing special but they did have bbq sauce, hot sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper to add flavor. We got there early to pick up tickets and there was an interactive playground for kids to play on which was great! The show was good and was family friendly which is also a plus. read more

The food is potato soup, chicken, pulled pork, green beans, mashed potatoes, and a roll. Good flavor, just not omg spectacular. To cook for 288 people, you can't make it too specific. The white cake was good. The show is where it's at actually. If you get good audience participation, then it's corny but hilarious. It's not Matlock, but it's entertaining. The food wasn't the food as advertised to be on the Pamphlet. The food was bland as well as being cold. You had to get your own drink and had to get to get a refill during the show. There was maybe 5 characters in the whole show and I don't think it was as good as plays I've saw at JR high and high schools or at dance class recitals. Funny, funny, funny. There is something wrong with you if you're not laughing out loud. Food is the usual you get at these events but the night flies by and is truly enjoyable. Went to multiple shows in Branson and Pigeon Forge and this was number one and the Hatfield and McCoy died dinner show was second. read more

Cute show. Authentic Hillbilly humor, actors enjoyable and make it fun. A bit overpriced due to simple bbq pork and baked chicken meal. The staff and actors were great. Completely disappointed in the food and the show. The show lacked Everything to be honest. The food was so salty and the meat was so dry. If you are looking for a true mystery dinner experience this is not for you. We were hoping to have clues and an opportunity to really figure out who the murderer was. Dinner show was supposed to start at 7:30 pm. We waited with everyone else outside till about 8 pm before doors opened. There were four people only serving food. Felt sorry for the staff, we left them a tip. Food was terrible! Chicken dry and no seasoning, pulled pork very greasey, potatoes bland, and green beans like rubber. The potato soup, tea, and cake were good, which is about all that I ate. The show was super corny not at all what I expected. Show was a very weak comedy. Been coming to Branson over 20 years and this was by far the worst show I have been to. Several guests sick in restroom during intermission. We left before it started back up. Save your money . The food was not bad. Add barbecue sauce to your purse and head over. Pulled pork was tasty, corn on cob, cake and dinner roll were very good. Simple clean cooking. I just sat down inside the theater. The young man outside at the entrance was being rude to people. He was complaining about the older people and how their always wondering around lost and can't read the direction signs. He was doing this in front of a bunch of older customers waiting to get in. We sat in the back left of the theater. There was a total of 4 people in the party. Which were not good seats. It may be due to the date we went but as far as shows go this one wasn't very good. The food came out slow we first got mashed potatoes. Then about 3-4 minutes later we got the vegetables. The mashed potatoess didn't have any gravy and was very bland. The vegetables was pretty much green beans carrots and coliflower. If there was anything other than that we wouldn't know. The pulled pork was not very good. We also never got any garlic bread sticks. The chicken was very tiny and also bland. When I say small like 2-3 oz worth of chicken and all the food. My family and I ended up picking up more food after the show because we were still hungry read more
