Whodunnit! It was a great experience for the family. The food was just bland but I wasn't expecting anything too notch. For the price it could have been a little better. Service is kinda odd as tendering can be chaotic and then servers are just carrryinf around plates to people sitting. The show was amazing. The whole family loved the hill Billy style comedy. The facility it's held at has a lot of other things to do. We showed up a little early and they have a play ground and some goats you can feed. Only knock stars because the food, neither kid ate any of the plate and that's not typical for my son.

Had a great time at the Who Dunnit Hoedown Murder Mystery! Food was great and was stuffed when I left. Had great service . Loved that they included the audience in the show.

It's kinda OK. After filing in, you grab a drink to your assigned seat. There's a little warm-up from the cast and the food is served. The food is fine. Yeah, fine. Maybe a little below average, but it's the show you really there for, right? This is the sort of show that is better when the audience gives back energy. I think this audience was OK, even for the cheesy lines and patter. There is some audience volunteers, which is certainly a risk for stage performers. I think the volunteers this night were a mixed bag. Some of them really hammed it up. Some others were low-energy or did not know what was really going on. The stage actors acquitted themselves nicely, improvising past the poorly-picked volunteers. The actually story was not great. Maybe it was too simplistic? Or maybe they had to shut it down early cause the volunteers were too unpredictable. The listing said 2 hours and even with a late start and intermission, we definitely were not there for 2 hours.

Overall great experience. Food was exactly what I was expecting, nothing special but they did have bbq sauce, hot sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper to add flavor. We got there early to pick up tickets and there was an interactive playground for kids to play on which was great! The show was good and was family friendly which is also a plus.

The food wasn't the food as advertised to be on the Pamphlet. The food was bland as well as being cold. You had to get your own drink and had to get to get a refill during the show. There was maybe 5 characters in the whole show and I don't think it was as good as plays I've saw at JR high and high schools or at dance class recitals. That being said you may like it but I didn't and the food sucked.

The food was nursing home quality. The play script was lame. Not the worst thing ever, but $40 each ... it's a crime scene.

The food was pretty good, the show was funny, and it was a great date night with the wife!

The actors were fantastic and engaging. I was skeptical about the evening, but we had an absolute blast!

Very cheesy show... the food was the worst. Potato soup totally bland with no potatoes. Birthday cake store bought and stale.

If you're in Branson, Silver Dollar City is one of those places you pretty much have to experience…read moreat least once. What really sets this place apart is the entertainment. There are shows happening all day long, from live music and bluegrass to comedy and saloon-style performances. Depending on the season, there are also special productions throughout the park. It's nice to be able to sit down, take a break, and still feel like you're part of the experience. And since the shows are included with admission, it adds a lot of value to your visit. It's also a great spot if you have younger kids. There is plenty for them to do beyond just rides, including play areas, interactive attractions, and even a train ride. It's not one of those parks where little kids are limited. They can stay busy all day. The whole park has a really cool 1880s theme and is honestly one of the most beautiful theme parks I've been to. Between the shops, craftsmen, and scenery, it feels more like an experience than just rides. That said, be ready for a lot of walking. This park is very hilly and you will feel it by the end of the day. Lines can also get long during busy times. Overall, it's a really unique place with a ton to do for all ages. Between the shows, rides, and kid-friendly activities, you can easily spend a full day here and still not see everything.

Our overall review based on being there 21 Dec, which changed the atmosphere a bit…read more Pros: - Amazing festive lights and decor. - Good food and it wasn't too pricey. There is a mobile ordering option for some places through the app that helped us a lot with the long lines. - Very friendly and helpful employees. - Easy to get to and navigate the park. - Smaller attractions like Grandpa's mansion were fun! - the APP is sooo helpful! - kiddo loved the knife shop and personal rings booth. The proprietors were so nice! - PowderKeg and TimeTraveler rides were awesome. Wish would could have done more than one! Cons: - We went during a weekend when people believed (as advertised) it was the last Rudolph train parade which made it especially chaotic. That was later changed in a way but it made this weekend before Christmas majorly bad. Kiddo was mad about the odd advertising after we heard a shop owner talking about a last minute meeting. - Better locker placement. We based this on Dollywood where there was a locker before each ride but SDC has them in certain "villages" which takes time to navigate. Bc of this we barely used the locker we bought - instead there are cubbies at each ride that work out better. - The kid rides area (Fireman's village or other) is smack in the middle of the route between spaces which made travel from ride to ride difficult. - During Xmas it is hectic, especially the weekend before. The whole operation is overwrought with people and it gets difficult to move, buy food, go on rides (we waited 2 hours for time traveler and saw on the app other rides were just as long). We also waiting 45 minutes for a funnel. - our personal note - we found a decent spot for the parade and got kicked out right before it started, by security. No signage - just you can't be in this open space (it was the mulch around the stage near the big Xmas tree) We left, parade be damned - which was when a lot of people were actually leaving. - outlaw ride was closed one of the biggest nights. - overpriced junk - my kiddo recognized a 'carved bear' from another theme park and when we looked at it close it was made in the Philippines. There are some good options for craftsman here but double check before paying for high priced inports. Key notes: - we knew we would be at the park into the night so we paid the $65 to get awesome parking up front. That turned out to be a great decision because as the masses were leaving we got out in 10 mins. I know that may seem silly but it as a priority for me and I know not everyone. For $20 you can get closer parking. They do have trolleys for free parking and they were running regularly. Make the decision that is best for you! - if they have the time traveler pass available - get it if you can. We spent so much time in line to watch the add on payers jump up and get more out of their time. At this park, there are only so many awesome rides. The limitations on the pass are far exceeded by the wasted time. This is only important if you are here for the rides and not just exploring. Notes: - the ground had paint stamps to help you navigate but they were worn out and made it hard. - there are shops to warm up in but as Colorado people who have seen a thing or two maybe warming stations with heaters or warming barrels like they do at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo would be good. Most people love a good wood fire smell. Overall - plan accordingly. We personally would not recommend the weekend before Xmas (we figured people would be traveling and that was a bad assumption). Know what your interest are - if you want to do shopping then that would be fine. If you want rides, maybe look at different dates you want to go.

By far the best part of the experience was the large butterfly arena with different butterflies from around the world. They give you this flower connected to a nectar vile and the butterflies basically come to you. In addition you get a laminated sheet which tells you what butterflies are in there so you can identify them. There are so many butterflies you almost forget about the pretty hummingbirds around. There is a cool mirror maze, 3D movie and slide to keep your kids occupied. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they care about their job. Prices paid for admissions which was a little pricier than expected: Child- $11.00 per ticket Adult - $32.00 per ticket Senior- $29.00 per ticket However, it's one of those prices you pay that you feel goes to a good cause to help the butterflies and other animals there. Overall, it's worth the visit if you are into that sort of thing or want to try something different than mini golf :). Just getting photo ops with my children and the butterflies is a mom and dad's dream if you can imagine lol. A great time and experience!

However, even with expansion work going on and things unavailable that we were excited for during our visit it was still a five star visit. The Butterfly Palace is an absolute must if you are visiting the area. We paid high price for so many attractions and this one was by far a favorite. The flight of the monarch's 3D movie was such a quick and educational film and the small reptile area had wonderful staff. Thank you to Evan that was the most patient and kind employee that we encountered while there. She answered all of my toddler's questions without feeling dismissed or in a hurry to move on. The butterfly room was beautiful. Educational for both adults and children with identification cards, binoculars, and magnifying glasses. I could have stayed there much longer than we did waiting for butterflies to land and admiring their beauty. It was truly a fantastic experience for all ages. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My only thing I would say is how crowded it gets. I felt like at one point it was shoulder to shoulder. I'm not sure they have limits on the amount of people in the room at one time or a way that they move people through. Either way 5/5 or 10/10!
