We got close parking to the building and near the exit. When you enter; we went to the right side of the building. Once we got there, we took a picture in front of the building. Inside, we weren't rushed to go to the bathroom & get some concessions. We sat in the upper deck in the middle. Specifically, row KK seats 53 & 54. I've been to Sight and Sound 2 other times and sat in the lower seats... I think I would prefer to sit lower.... Up top, we could see everyone's phones on, people having to stand up and leave- which I know is so picky of me but I would pay the extra money to sit lower. I will say, a perk of sitting up top is the bathrooms and exit way to the lobby that is quicker to exit & way less crowded! The only thing is concessions aren't served upstairs (I think, not for sure on this) We saw David! My theological nerd of a husband had some beef with wanting more exposition especially with Solomon and the temple but I thought it was great use of the limited time they have! They walked us through his young boy years, Samuel anointing him, his relationship with Saul & Jonathan, hiding in the cave, becoming king, Bathsheba, and ended with his confrontation with Nathan and a redemption song. The emphasis was on David wanting to know God's heart and be known by God intimately. Really spoke to me personally in this season. I do think seeing Jesus was my favorite because it's the gospels. My husband says his favorite is Esther. But honestly, anything you see will be good. The ushers are amazing! They were keeping an eye out on anyone who needed anything-even working in the pitch dark to escort parents or children out. They have quiet rooms for families in the back & good seating for those in wheelchairs or anything else. At the end of the show, they have cast members and S&S staff available to pray with anyone who needs anything & they do an altar call for salvation, which is EPIC! They give space for people to encounter God and be walked through prayer.

We traveled from Texas to Missouri primarily to see The Petersens but also to visit Branson as a…read morefamily vacation. We discovered The Petersens through YouTube about six months ago, and our entire family has fallen in love with their music. We also adore who they appear to be as people. In person, they were just as genuine as they appear online. We very much enjoyed meeting them and seeing them perform. Our children go around the house singing Petersens songs. Well, maybe not just the children. It was a thrill for all of us to attend their show. There were new songs and pleasant surprises, but also enough familiar tunes that we love so much. There were also plenty of laughs. My wife pointed out to me later that the show ended up being an hour and forty-five minutes long. Wow! The time flew by. The musicianship, arrangements, and harmonies stand out to me more than anything. They are so good! Please go check out their show if you can. Even if you are someone who doesn't know their music, I am confident that you would enjoy the experience.

The show is performed at the Pepsi Legends Theater. The show had songs from the Beatles to boy bands to Queen, so there was truly something for everyone! We really enjoyed watching the group, and the show lasted around two hours. I enjoy all types of music, so I really appreciated the variety of songs and styles. By far the best part of the experience was the large butterfly arena with different butterflies from around the world. They give you this flower connected to a nectar vile and the butterflies basically come to you. In addition you get a laminated sheet which tells you what butterflies are in there so you can identify them. There are so many butterflies you almost forget about the pretty hummingbirds around. There is a cool mirror maze, 3D movie and slide to keep your kids occupied. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they care about their job. Prices paid for admissions which was a little pricier than expected: Child- $11.00 per ticket Adult - $32.00 per ticket Senior- $29.00 per ticket However, it's one of those prices you pay that you feel goes to a good cause to help the butterflies and other animals there. Overall, it's worth the visit if you are into that sort of thing or want to try something different than mini golf :). Just getting photo ops with my children and the butterflies is a mom and dad's dream if you can imagine lol. A great time and experience!

However, even with expansion work going on and things unavailable that we were excited for during our visit it was still a five star visit. The Butterfly Palace is an absolute must if you are visiting the area. We paid high price for so many attractions and this one was by far a favorite. The flight of the monarch's 3D movie was such a quick and educational film and the small reptile area had wonderful staff. Thank you to Evan that was the most patient and kind employee that we encountered while there. She answered all of my toddler's questions without feeling dismissed or in a hurry to move on. The butterfly room was beautiful. Educational for both adults and children with identification cards, binoculars, and magnifying glasses. I could have stayed there much longer than we did waiting for butterflies to land and admiring their beauty. It was truly a fantastic experience for all ages. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My only thing I would say is how crowded it gets. I felt like at one point it was shoulder to shoulder. I'm not sure they have limits on the amount of people in the room at one time or a way that they move people through. Either way 5/5 or 10/10!
