The cafe is located on a suburban side street so is more of a destination cafe than one you would accidentally walk past. We like sitting at the large street facing communist tables outside though there is plenty of space inside too. The menu is pretty big and features lots of burgers (brioche buns!). Lots of vegetarian options are available too. The milkshakes are pretty special: salted caramel or the not-on-the-menu-special pins colada! Coffee is by st Ali and is poured well. This is a nice cafe and I would happily go out of my way to visit it again.

(Because everything else carried an unattractive feel to it in price) A whopping 4.5stars with extra bling because unlike their counter part in Grisborne... They: 1- were much more oriented to service! 2- water glasses were not the problem AND- *they noted it before it was brought to their attention that there wasn't any pitchers of water, but they were bringing it over to our table. And it was taller! Cleaner and not hot! ((((LOL)))) 3- it didn't feel like boot camp And they even asked how we enjoyed everything (while still sitting down) It was a strange discovery of sorts seeing that i stopped into the same business (franchised) in two seperate towns. BIG DIFFERENCE!!! But the Tim Tam slice is quite the Sunbury/Jolly Miller experience.. They make up the 3.5 to the 1.0 star from their sibling Gisborne location. What a BIG DIFFERENCE between twins!
