He was able to come out the next day. The next day, 2 gentleman showed up. Not Steve. Ok, no problem. Explained the sprinkler system was installed in the late 90s and unsure of last use but was never started after 2015 when I purchased the home. The guys walked around took a look at my valve system and approx 15min later came inside to tell me I had no back-flow and didn't trybstart the system, and would cost quite a bit to update. I was told I could keep the water off and cut whatever sprinkler lines were popping up throughout the yard as I wanted. Luckily, I didn't do this. I received a call from another company a couple days later who felt I was told inaccurate information. He reviewed pictures and turns out I have an older valve system with anti-siphon back flow valves (I.e backflow)!! That gentleman/company walked me through starting up the system. I needed to replace 2 valves/anti-siphons and currently have half my yard up and running. To think I almost cut sprinkler lines! I tried calling Steve to let him know what I learned and instead of listening and understanding he argued with me and insisted my system, which he did not see, was costly to repair. He can keep his service call fee and I will respond accordingly with a review. Costly repair BTW, my hubs and I did it in 4hrs with a trip to the store and $65. I will leave a positive review for the other company.

Paxton responded with his services and specifically set up a program for what I needed and requested for my lawn. Precision offers different 'Step' programs, 4,5 or 6; mowing, aeration, grub control and other services. Precision used Advanced Turf Solutions for applications, a Michigan Based Fertilizer Company. Which I feel is a positive effect for Michigan lawns. Compared to other companies, Precision is very competitive and beats larger less reputable providers by 40%. Paxton did what he said he would do, showed up at the scheduled time and continuously kept me informed of his arrival. I wanted to meet Paxton for his first visit to walk the yard, confirm my lawn needs and hear about him and his company which I learned has a Noble History. Our first service included aeration, over-seeding and 1 of 6 step fertilizer applications. I have a high slope and shady yard with thick and thin areas. My goal is to even out my yard. I'm in a new construction home and I hired them in the summer of 2025 to do some landscaping. Because of that, and for ease of coordinating the job, my builder hired them to install the irrigation and sod which was part of the purchase agreement. I gave Superior a deposit of $2,330.00 towards my landscaping part of the job. The job was scheduled to start on 10/15/25 but didn't show up and kept giving me and the builder nonsensical excuses. Come 11/5/25 with the season and window to get the job done quickly closing, the builder decided to hire another contractor and got the irrigation and sod installed having no problem with grading or weather (Superiors excuses). The landscaping that I hired them to do however, is still not done and it is now 5/17/26. Since I am so very disappointed in their lack of service, horrible communication skills, unreliability and disrespect, and not to mention, I want my house landscaped, I have tried to cancel the job with them and asked for my deposit back so I can hire someone else more reliable. However, they told me that they do not issue refunds no matter the issue. I then spoke to Paul on 3/23/26 about doing enough of the job to account for my deposit, he said he would look at his schedule for a good time to meet and talk and would call me back the next day. No surprise, it was over 5 weeks later (4/30) before I was able to get a hold of him again. He came over the next day (a Friday) and said he would get back to me early the next week. Again, no surprise, that was 17 days ago. I am now convinced that they are ignoring me in hopes that I just give up so they can keep my deposit and do nothing for it. BE VERY AWARE AND SKEPTICLE!
