Someone rated it as pricey, but there's actually a huge variety of items here at many prices - many that are less expensive than you'll find elsewhere (seriously, $20 for a handmade wreath?!), and many items that are under $10. Everything is locally made, which i awesome for supporting local artisans, the community, and events. And Tricia - what a SUPER AWESOME person. If there's anything you need, she'll know how to get it. She gets things done. Even when it's something that isn't in the store (like knowing somehow EXACTLY what we needed for dinner and where to get it, she told us what we wanted, and when we agreed or made revisions, she called and told them what to give us). Plus, she's wicked funny. I feel like she's my own personal soul mate, but I think I'm probably not the only one who feels like she's a kindred spirit! Aside from this shop being wicked cool on an everyday basis, they went above and beyond to support the local event, the Millinocket Marathon & Half. They had medals locally made. Made tee shirts for the event. Had artisans make painted on slate ornaments commemorating it. Stood in the road to cheer runners in (and ran some in), stopped traffic so runners could proceed. They hosted packet pickup, were open crazy early to crazy late. Acted as designated drivers for the dance party Saturday night. But getting back to Moose Drop In - they were well over their usual for a given day... wall to wall people buying, needing, asking questions, wanting tee shirts made, asking directions, you name it. They never missed a step. Made everyone happy. Can't wait to come back!

They have a huge selection of dresses- they carry Eden Bridals, Casablanca, Jacquelin Exclusive, Jordan Bridals, and Mia Solano lines. The sample sizes they have in the store cover a pretty good range- I tried on some dresses that were size 4, and some that were a size 14. They also rent tuxes and carry mother of the bride clothing, so I got all of my party clothed from ONE place- so easy! The seamstress is great (even though my dress was a pain the butt to alter). We had a few issues with this place, but everything was easily solved. I recommend them.

We go in, the lady of the shop was sitting talking to someone she knew. They were talking about someone's apartment. She said if you need anything just ask. Was looking through the prints they had, and was super excited at the beauty. I was very vocal with my excitement over the photos and was going to buy several. However, I expected that after showing excited interest, that I wouldn't have to be rude and ask for assistance. I assumed she would have wanted to interact with us, guess not. We walked around the entire room looking at everything. We were essentially ignored from the woman and her very "important" conversation. Since she didn't want to have any other interaction with us, other than "ask for help," we didn't buy anything. She obviously has soooo much money that she isn't concerned with not interacting with potential customers. They do take beautiful photos, but seem better at interacting with nature than they do with customers. I wouldn't waste my money or time there.

Anita was especially helpful in steering me to a suitable frame for both pieces and was super accommodating in getting them framed in time for me to take them back home to Boston. I have the pieces in my home office and I have received many compliments on the pieces.
