Upon visiting the stables and meeting Lisa and her horses, I knew we had found a special place. My daughter has been taking weekly lessons for over a year and absolutely loves it. She has learned so much and her confidence--both around horses and toward life in general--continues to increase steadily. Lisa's unbelievable patience is exceeded only by her in depth knowledge and technical skills. And, as a side note worthy of mention, I've never seen a more universally happy group of horses in all my years in the equine community. This is a very happy, supportive, warm and professional business, but feels more like family. Vibrant shiny coats and great muscle tone. You're can really tell that she provides excellent care to her animals and has a lot of passion towards them. Second, her property, location and trail ride is breathtaking. The terrain provides a good mixture of up and down hills, open fields, thick forest and shallow water crossings. Oh and great views. Third would be Maria herself. The best instructor and guide we have had and will probably continue to return to her family's farm more often. Maria is very knowledgeable and experienced. She is super friendly and very easy to going. Plus she takes great pictures even while loping on her horse! My wife and I will definitely be back to ME Horsemanship for more time in the saddle!

She had her up and riding solo, learning commands, and enjoying a confident ride within 20 minutes. The whole lesson was such high quality learning- we can't wait to go back! If you are looking to board your horse at a nice facility with no drama, this is your place. Bob…read more(owner and primary caretaker) genuinely loves horses and will treat yours like his own. They get daily turnout in large areas with lots of enrichment opportunities--hills, streams, rocks, cattle, dogs, etc. There are a few miles of well-maintained trails and tree farm roads on the property for trail riding, plus a huge indoor arena and an outdoor arena for when the weather permits it. Stalls are big (10x15), as are the individual tack closets and extra storage area. Trailer parking is free and ample. Your fellow boarders are low-key and helpful. This is NOT a show barn, and there is no trainer onsite. Part of the property also functions as an outdoor wedding venue. I haven't been to an event there, but the landscaping is incredible.
