THE WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EVER!!! DO NOT RENT TO…read moreBENCHMARK PROPERTY MANAGMENT THEY ARE AWFUL. DO NOT RENT OUT 830 E Locust Ave Property they have either, the landlord is horrible. He rents out his house for $1700 a month with a backyard and doesn't let you do a thing in the backyard no swing-sets nothing fun if you have children, he then will pull up and watch the house when your inside of it and you pay your rent on time, they do not fix anything when asked, HE WILL SAY ITS A 12 month lease but then right before signing they have it as a 9 month lease and he will not resign your lease after 9 months he continues to get new residents in. Even if you pay your rent on time and have the house cleaned spotless and take care of the property he doesn't care he will not resign your lease. Awful. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM OR THAT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. They are shady. They don't even have an office you can walk into. They do everything off texting and phone calls. They walk into your home without asking!! There was one time I had a dog bowl out front and one of the worker said something to another worker and they started calling me asking if I had a dog on property when I never did the worker said when he was picking up the hose that I hid the dog bowl lol when it was in front of my house the whole time. They have absolutely no life. Straight mold in house and they don't do anything about it. Stuff falls apart they ask for $2500 + security deposit but then when you move in everything falls apart and breaks. Sad. DO NOT GO TO THEM.

If privacy items that are tastefully done one year is fine the next year they are leaving 3 day eviction notices with very general/generic information on what needs to be removed. They also have about 5 in apartment checks each year with their very unprofessional staff stomping through your home with their muddy shoes on and disrupting your living space. This year the office gave a random man who does contract maintenance a key to our apartment in error and had a stranger walk in on me unannounced. All I got from the staff when I called was a 'all we can say is sorry'. Not good enough. Parking is a major issue and instead of changing a useless grass round-about into proper parking they leave as is and tow vehicles at 8am every day if you've parked there. Our front door is rusted out and completely freezes over in the winter on the inside. Zero maintenance assistance after several requests and instead a pompous arrogant maintenance worker argued with my boyfriend about how "when it's cold outside and warm inside it creates humidity which freezes", gee thanks you ninny! Still doesn't change that we literally cannot open our door on this shitty made building. Pool closes early in the season around September when it's still 85+ degrees and opens late into the summer season. This spring they gave notices to everyone with a grill or bbq to be removed off premises immediately just as we are going into bbq season. They have an outdoor grill area at the clubhouse but it's always filthy and never maintained. Garbage is always overflowing. The grass outside our building has had a pylon sitting on it for over 2 years and there is no replanting of dead shrubs or grass. We will be getting out of here as soon as humanly possible and will absolutely recommend no one ever lives here.

From the office to the maintenance team to the grounds crew, this place is a nice place to live with great amenities, including an Amazon locker for package drop off/pickup, pool, and well stocked gym. What I have appreciated most of late is the quickness and courteously of the maintenance team. I have had a couple of typical issues come up in my apartment, and they were both addressed swiftly, e.g. calling to set up a time to come out within hours of submitting a service request and diligent workers that get the job done as fast as possible. I am so please that I have chosen this place to call home.

Looks very dated. Residents are worried about upcoming rent increase. Most won't be able to afford it as many are on a one person income. They have stated they will have to move out. The staff was decent, maintenance was always right there for you when you needed them, and I really enjoyed the people I met there only problem was it said 55+ and it was more like 70+. Since I was much younger it was not a good place for me to really be. Although it was perfect for my mother's last years. But again I loved the people my mother and I met there and several became close friends. The only problem with the place...it is haunted. My mother and I experienced several random paranormal occurrences. I can't say there was anything bad that happened just a few annoyances. Like my bedroom window opening a crack on 2 occasions when neither of us opened it, car lights would flicker on and off in the parking lot, shadows in the parking lot. Water turning on in the kitchen then shutting off two minutes later. I also witnessed a flesh & blood ghost walking across the parking lot in front of the line of garages while I was sitting in my wheelchair, looking out of the 3rd floor hallway window. When he just vanished in front of me! It was winter. He was a man in his mid to late fifties, dressed in dark blue pants, and a dark jacket with dark hair. I watched him walk across the parking lot in front of the line of garages, headed for the sidewalk, next to the white fence. Just before his right foot was going to step onto the curb of the sidewalk he vanished before my eyes! After relaying my experience to one of the staff members. I found out there was a man that lived in 308 that shot himself in the head years earlier. Very sad I happened to live in 307! Just read recent reviews. Sounds like this place is really gone downhill since I lived there. What a shame. Make sure you read the reviews before you move into this place. I'm sure glad I don't live there now.

The stone selected was exquisite! There was a minor mishap and we were extremely happy at the quick response and customer service this business offers. You will find uniquely beautiful stone to make your project look the way you imagined.

The work included 21 feet of countertops, ten feet of bartop, an eight-foot tub deck with 12 feet of front and side panels, 29 feet of backsplash, 10 feet of shower curb, cutouts for four under-mount sinks and one under-mount tub, and one very difficult three-way mitered corner. There were 33 feet of mitered edges that needed to be joined and finished. Throughout our remodel, we have learned that we are very particular and have very high standards for workmanship. I am pleased to say that Living Stone paid close attention to our concerns, and actually exceeded our expectations by the time the job was complete. We emailed Living Stone our drawings and specifications and they responded with a professional and detailed estimate within two days. During our first visit to their showroom, Jena reviewed our estimate with us and patiently answered our questions about pricing and also the display pieces. Jena was extremely informative and helpful and the atmosphere was always very friendly and relaxed. Jena introduced us to Tim, the general manager, who over the next five weeks was very thorough and helpful and proved to be an excellent communicator. We always received information or updated estimates for revised work within 24 hours of requesting it. Tim introduced us to Nathan, the lead fabricator. Nathan has over 20 years of experience and was more than willing to answer our technical questions about the fabrication process and national fabrication standards. Nathan and Tim gave us a tour of the fabrication shop, and Nathan demonstrated how the measuring, cutting, and polishing equipment worked. As we toured the shop, Nathan and Tim continued to answer our questions on how we could achieve top quality with all of our work. Living Stone was not the cheapest of the four estimates we received, but their service, responsiveness, interest in our project, and showroom displays convinced us to pay the extra money. We provided a down payment and the job measurement process was completed two days later. Our installation was scheduled for five weeks later and it was completed on the day scheduled, June 15th. I am extremely pleased to say the fabrication and installation work exceeded our very high expectations. The two installers, Felix and Ryan, accomplished perfect work, and I mean perfect. The mitered edges look like they are solid quartz, and you cannot see that they are not a solid piece unless you are trained to see the joint (and use a magnifying glass). Every installed piece in the three rooms is perfectly straight, level, and square. One of the pre-fabricated pieces needed a slight adjustment and Felix and Ryan flawlessly handled the adjustment with their saw. Felix and Ryan arrived on time, worked continuously for nine hours except for a short lunch break, and patiently answered our questions. They set up their cutting station away from the house where the dust would not stick to anything and also left each work area perfectly clean. Felix and Ryan could not have been more professional. This review would not be complete without discussing James, the outstanding measurer and template creator. James spent most of a day with his expensive equipment taking very precise measurements. The proof is in the end result because the fabrication was superb. Thanks to James's precision, everything was the exact right size and all pieces fit together perfectly (with the one minor exception previously mentioned). The reveals and overhangs are all perfectly straight, aligned, and evenly spaced. James also spent 2-3 hours on the job today, working with Felix and Ryan to ensure the best possible outcome. The perfect installation work also would not have been possible without the skill of Nathan and his fabrication crew. The cuts are very precise and the edge shaping and polishing are absolutely beautiful. Most jobs have an unexpected challenge or two that pop up, and ours was no exception. The underside of our tub deck needed very precise routing to be accomplished to accommodate our two bathtub water valves and faucet. Nathan handled this expertly and as a result, our hardware interface is outstanding. We are very thankful to have such skilled professionals such as Nathan, Nathan's staff, Felix, Ryan, and James work on our home. Tim, as the general manager, made it all happen with Jena's very able assistance. The work we saw in the showroom was the main reason we selected Living Stone to do our job. We believe the work in our house is even better than their showroom. If anyone would like to see their work, contact Tim or Jena at Living Stone and we will gladly welcome you to our home to view the work in person. James Davey
