Here are my thoughts: Location - The location is spacious and cute instead, reminds me of an art gallery. Parking - this is where it gets confusing, its in a small space but parking was confusing for me. I recommend coming earlier to find parking. My favorite thing was the was that the instructor made sure each of us knew what we were doing before having us doing it on our own. I also loved the music while we worked. I would come back! That worked great for us, I think it would have taken us longer for each individual to make one, and it allowed us to use teamwork. You start off with a short safety demo and a chance for everyone to quickly practice. Beforehand they send you template options so you know what you're creating. They also let you send a custom design which is what I did. This was such a fun new experience! Once you get going it's pretty relaxing. You will need to return in a few days to pick up your finished rug. FYI, you can't see any signage from the street, but it's right next to the ice cream shop. Parking: paid street parking and a few paid spots right in front of the business.

She got my guest and I all situated for our Art class and gave us complimentary glasses of wine and appetizers(yes! classy) lol They also don't mind if you bring your own bottle(s) of wine to enjoy while you are there! The art class was very relaxing and the instructor was very knowledgeable but free-minded. If you ever have a chance...definitely go check this place out! It's a great idea for a date night with your significant other or just a cool place to go check out! Everything on the walls is for sale if you really happen to like a piece. I recently went to their casual Valentine's Day event and had a blast looking for unique prints and cards for friends. Prints are usually $25, going up for limited releases and I think I saw $100-200 for originals (mixed mediums, and framed). Great place to find quirky prints for friends who are into that kind of thing, or cards to send to your beloved. Parking is street and usually not too hard to find.

I visited here to attend a singing bowl concert. The owners are warm, welcoming, wonderful people; the Healium Center reflects the care they've put into this place. I was given a tour; I viewed the private art gallery, owned by the Family. I saw beautiful, vividly colored art featured by local artists. They also host meditations lead by Donna, in an exquisite, eclectic black light room. They also have open jam sessions on Wednesday. I felt so at home, it's unreal. Healium is a small gallery and space full of charming people, music, art, and meditation. I didn't…read moreknow what to expect when a friend of mine mentioned going here to chill and do some painting. Upon arriving the owner warmly welcomed us and then explained what Healium was about: an atmosphere free to play and rejuvenate, essentially. For the painting sessions, you have a choice to paint on a canvas, bottle, or tile plate. To paint it was $10 for the supplies, discount or free if you donated wine or art supplies. The painting sessions aren't lead by anything, there is a base inspiration for the day that you can draw from, but the idea is really to have fun, try not to be overly serious, and just painting. Let go, sort of experience. There are also guided meditations and food toward the back of Healium. I don't go participate in a lot of meditation sessions, so it was really interesting to finally experience a singing bowl for an extended period of time. The open gallery showcases local work from staff and other artists all with either a fantastical theme or meditative spirit in mind. Healium seems to focus a lot on exploration of the soul and letting that blossom. It's also a safe atmosphere to do so. We ended up painting and painting til the place closed up, and still painting. So much for serious? Or maybe just having too much fun.
