Stopped in on way back from State Fair. Nice, clean little base. Facilities all seem fairly new, nice newer base housing and grounds were well kept. It's a very small pleasant base that has a youth center a indoor and outdoor pool, they also have a commissary, and a BX. It has a elementary school on base and a middle school + high school off base and there's a bus that comes on base for the middle schoolers and high schoolers. We attended the air show on base. It was well done. Plenty of helpful staff. The show was entertaining minus the thunderbirds. There were food and drink tents. Occasionally the lines were long but to be expected. There were plenty of ports pots with the usual long lines. read more

Nice base with all the usual amenities and services. They have a gas station, base exchange, food court with about 4 fast food choices, bowling alley, parks, gym, base hotel, medical facility and auto hobby shops.The base itself is pretty small but for the most part the people on this base are pretty friendly and inviting. read more

They consistently dish out freedom and American justice with lethal precision and accuracy. With the most powerful bomber in the US inventory, the employees are spot on technical masters of their crafts. They have one of the best Air Traffic Control facilities in the Air Force with a good mixture of traffic complexity. Before other countries decide to get out of line, they think about Whiteman AFB and the B2 bomber. read more
