We went in here to have a bit of a look around while we saved the necessary money to actually buy a set. I was impressed with the range they had in here, although we didn't actually end up buying at this shop. The service was really very good, and the sales person wasn't at all pushy or overly annoying. I'd be happy to recommend this place to people looking for a new set of glasses.

But now I also know that the Optometrist here, Lois, is very good too. She is caring, she makes me feel like I am getting her full attention and that she cares about how she works with me. If you're in the market for a new set of glasses, they're always willing to give advice and make suggestions based on what they think will suit the shape of your face. I always pick the same style and shape but by asking for help I've been able to move out of my comfort zone with different shapes that still compliment my face shape. Eye tests here are free under medicare, though I was always under the impression that you can only get one per year. Recently I had the misfortune of being "attacked" by a tree, with a very spiky leaf scratching my eye and slicing my contact lense in half. Needless to say my eye was a bit sore and when I paid a visit to OPSM Anthony was able to take a look at my eye and make some suggestions on what I needed do next (eye drops, keep my eye clean and follow up with another test in a week to make sure the scratch was healing). I went back a week later and all was okay with my eye and I walked out without needing to pay a cent! How great is that!? Pro tip: you can make appointments online for some of their stores. Otherwise give them a call to book your optometry appointment.
