They offer different classes, book club, game night, and many other programs for all ages. They also have a little "club room" for Seniors, with comfy chairs, games, books, and a nice Keurig machine with a nice assortment of coffee and teas. They often use the large room across the hall for different programs. Two years ago, Daughter and I attended a Mom and Daughter American Girl doll theme party. It was a lot of fun, and the girls were the first to be able to borrow the dolls. Fairly decent parking lot, but could be bigger. Friendly, helpful staff. A big room, just for kids, with Story Time, and different programs for the kiddies.

The top floor has all the books that you'd expect to find in a library, whereas the bottom floor houses more activities and performance areas. The books on the top floor are all arranged by topic, so historical books are in one area, young adult in another, etc. Makes it really easy to find what you're looking for! There are plenty of study spaces and cozy corners to curl up with a book or laptop. I love how it's spaced out enough without making you feel too isolated from your fellow library visitors. Just be aware that there aren't a ton of outlets, but there are charging stations located throughout the facility, each with a variety of different chargers for phones and computers. While the library is small, it serves its purpose for books and computers. It also has a cool teen only section and a dollhouse/kids toys. The staff was kind. Many kids were here playing games online. Carrick is not what it used to be, but it was nice seeing the future generation reading, doing homework and playing video games.

They sell books via their physical store but also post stacks of books and you can claim them. The owner is very sweet and even works with you if it takes awhile for you to get to the store. Honestly, I love this. It helps to show the stock and then I go in already knowing what I need/want. Also in the area you can get a nice little bubble tea so you can have something to sip on while you peruse the bookshelves. They do have events also in the space.
