They offer different classes, book club, game night, and many other programs for all ages. They also have a little "club room" for Seniors, with comfy chairs, games, books, and a nice Keurig machine with a nice assortment of coffee and teas. They often use the large room across the hall for different programs. Two years ago, Daughter and I attended a Mom and Daughter American Girl doll theme party. It was a lot of fun, and the girls were the first to be able to borrow the dolls. Fairly decent parking lot, but could be bigger. Friendly, helpful staff. A big room, just for kids, with Story Time, and different programs for the kiddies.

While the library is small, it serves its purpose for books and computers. It also has a cool teen only section and a dollhouse/kids toys. The staff was kind. Many kids were here playing games online. Carrick is not what it used to be, but it was nice seeing the future generation reading, doing homework and playing video games.

The library staff were unclear on whether a visitor could use the wireless network (Bluesocket asks for a library card number), but since I rock a Clear dongle anyway, I was able to get online and avoid agreeing to an acceptable-use policy that couldn't be viewed on the library's website until after I had agreed to it. They sell books via their physical store but also post stacks of books and you can claim them. The owner is very sweet and even works with you if it takes awhile for you to get to the store. Honestly, I love this. It helps to show the stock and then I go in already knowing what I need/want. Also in the area you can get a nice little bubble tea so you can have something to sip on while you peruse the bookshelves. They do have events also in the space. She puts so much work into buying books for the store. She has even acquired rare first editions of Sarah J. Maas books, and I was lucky enough to snag one of them! You can sell books to her as well, just keep an eye out for when she's buying!
