This is easily one of the best suburban libraries in Pittsburgh. It's large, modern, has a decent number of computers (and classes) for its size, and more computer-savvy staff than just about any other suburban library. They offer different classes, book club, game night, and many other programs for all ages. They also have a little "club room" for Seniors, with comfy chairs, games, books, and a nice Keurig machine with a nice assortment of coffee and teas. They often use the large room across the hall for different programs. Two years ago, Daughter and I attended a Mom and Daughter American Girl doll theme party. It was a lot of fun, and the girls were the first to be able to borrow the dolls.
Fairly decent parking lot, but could be bigger.
Friendly, helpful staff. A big room, just for kids, with Story Time, and different programs for the kiddies. read more
