I didn't see a listing for these guys and they are literally minutes away (had to swing by and change trucks). They picked us up in 20 min. and drove us 15 or so miles to our vehicle. One fella was able to limp the blazer down to the next exit where they hooked it up and towed it to Corpus and a reliable mechanic - taking us along with, thank God. Very nice couple of guys; knowledgeable and capable. Pure Texan: no butt-kissing, no nonsense and absolutely no BS at all while helping a couple of stranded women. Two American coffin flags were neatly folded in the back of the service vehicle we rode in. The one man said he saw a lady in Mexico using them for tablecloths at her flea market booth. He rescued the flags and intended to donate them to the VFW, as they would know what best to do w/ them. Leaving them there "didn't seem right". That tells you exactly the character of these men.

We spent over $1,700 plus the cost of a rental car just to get our truck back in the exact same…read morecondition it went in. We were told it could be one issue, then it turned into another, but in the end nothing was fixed. We even paid for a new airbag that didn't solve the problem. When we picked up the truck, one of the tires was obviously low. After spending that much money, you'd think they could at least put some air in it out of courtesy. What disappoints me most is the lack of honesty. I wish they had simply said, "I don't know what the issue is, you should take it somewhere else," instead of playing the guessing game on my dime. To be fair, I've had good experiences here with oil changes, but based on this repair I would never recommend taking your vehicle here for electrical, stabilitrak, or cruise control issues. I'm really bummed about the money wasted and that my truck is still not fixed.

I looked for somewhere to get this checked since I will be traveling further and picked this place based only on the current 5 star rating. They definitely live up to this! My husband flew from California to Texas to purchase a suburban with 33K miles. When he arrived,…read morethe vehicle had 37K miles and they had the audacity to change the listing while he was there to gaslight him into thinking he made an error. The windshield had a nick not visible on photos. They didn't bother to detail the car. Fees that were agreed to be waived were not waived. Service records that were requested were not provided. My husband and I are both professionals and it was highly disappointing to not be met with a level of respect and honesty to which we are accustomed. Instead, this was the classic greasy used car salesman cliche. It's unfortunate that so much time, energy and money was wasted to pick up a vehicle that was not as advertised. We do not purchase the vehicle and we would not work with them ever again.

Turns out Pride Automotive buys their parts from O'Reily, which is where they ordered the part I needed. I ended up buying that same exact part from O'Reily Auto Parts that Pride bought from them after they returned it, only for $150 less than what they were trying to sell to me. Labor expenses sounded pretty decent but I'm not sure if they were trying to over charge me because I'm a new customer???? Or if they do that to all costumers.... I ended up saving over $300 by buying the part and doing it myself.
