It is modern, bright, and has good sunshine and lighting. This is the place for breakfast. But I wake up late and I wasn't hungry so I got a mixed fruit juice. (I don't think they juice it themselves, rather it's bought and poured into a glass.) It's also a good place for a coffee break or tea time.

The staff in the restaurant are superb. They are always around for anything one might need. And what is totally amazing is nothing is ever a problem. Breakfast is started off with a kick of a little shot of the days choice. It rotates from the healthy drinks on the menu. We had bacon almost every morning and it was cooked perfectly and was some of the best during our month long trip around Europe. The Avocado Toast was some of the best we have ever had...had it twice long with the Brioche French Toast...had it twice also. Both superb. The muffin/bread that the avocado was on was as fresh and soft as could be. Not a biscuit, not an English Muffin and not a regular piece of toast. It was perfect. We asked for the egg to be fried with the yolk cooked and there was no problem. The Brioche French Toast was out of this world good. It felt as though it was going to melt in your mouth, maybe because we chose it with Chantilly and Berry Compote. What's not to like about whipped cream? The choice of Two Eggs, any style with toppings...toppings mean what would you like to go with your eggs. We picked bacon, fruit, and toast. Not a problem and the bacon serving was very generous. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Friendly staff, quick service, and tasty food…read more Came in with a large party of 20 people, so we were only able to choose between three burgers. I ordered the B.L.A.TCH, a fried chicken burger with avocado, bacon, relish, pickled onions, and arugula, which came with a large portion of house-made fries. The house-made brioche bun was soft and pillowy, the picked onions on the burger added a solid crunch, and the bacon was smoky. The chicken was good as well: the meat was moist, and the edges of the patty were crispy. Additionally, the fry on the chicken was light, which meant the burger wasn't very heavy. However, I thought the burger was missing a little something; the flavor was good, but nothing especially stood out to me. Personally, I feel that some sort of spicy or creamy sauce would enhance the overall taste of the sandwich. It could be that the relish on the sandwich is used to make this type of standout flavor, but I wasn't able to taste it. That being said, I enjoyed it, and it definitely filled me up. The fries were also great, lightly fried and lightly salted. I wish I had the option to try some other items on the menu, because they had some dishes that sounded delicious. To wrap it up, if you find yourself in Chamonix, definitely come and check this place out for some filling food and friendly, fast service!

Their coffee is delicious because it's Mokxa, which is arguably the best coffee in France. Five stars for the coffee here. Now for the story of today's lunch. My friend and I met here for lunch because they open at 11:30 and I have a one-year-old who naps around 1:00 pm, so I was hoping for an earlier-than-most-cafes lunch. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The lady behind the counter seemed a little annoyed that we arrived at 11:30 and even more so that we were there for lunch. She sat us but informed us that the kitchen did not open until noon. We sat and waited. (No high chairs, of course, and the little one started to get antsy halfway through the meal. Thankfully I had a pouch of applesauce for her.) The daily vegetarian lunch option was ravioli with pumpkin and preserved shallots. My friend and I both enjoyed it, as well as the salad that came with it: fennel & orange. Simple and delicious. We each had dessert: I chose the tiramisu and my friend had the pineapple with cream and spices. He liked his a lot; the tiramisu was mostly cream and, therefore, slightly disappointing. Overall, because of the quality of the food and the coffee, I'm giving this place four stars. Some of the servers are very friendly and some of them aren't. I think 14,50€ for their lunch plate with a salad plus dessert is a pretty good deal for Lyon. (And it was filling.) Also you can buy bags of Mokxa coffee here, which is a treat because it means I don't have to go all the way to the 1st arrondisemment to get it!

My only regret is not bringing my lover or close friend to enjoy their brunch special of a savory dish, a sweet, juice, and coffee for €24. Highly recommended to vegetarians: of two brunch entrees, one was vegetarian and the other could be, and everyone will salivate over the desserts, especially the Pavlova (should've guessed the chef was a Kiwi).
