The athletics department is terrible. A particular female tennis coach is just the meanest and inappropriate, she made life hell for my daughter who by the way has been recruited to play tennis in college this fall. There are some very caring teachers there as well, Some of the clubs are a good experience for the students overall. However, a lot of things are really rigged and shady. Exceptions are made and rules are broken based on how much noise a parent makes about their mistakes. Favoritism is alive and well starting from the top to the bottom. A very qualified teacher once admitted to me that the school is shady. So, if you are willing to spend every year completely involved with your eyes wide open, this may be the district for you.

Or if he does comprehend the consequences, he doesn't care because he only cares about himself. In my opinion, he is a disgrace to his profession, and is completely unfit to be working in education. And even worse, the administration and teachers that he decides to retain in the district, have similar personalities as his cutthroat ways foster getting rid of anybody that opposes his apathetic decisions. The administration is filled with incompetence. The teachers are the leftovers of those who can't get a job elsewhere (to a high degree, not necessarily every single teacher), and the kids learn from the teachers and administrators that they see every day. The recently introduced demerit system is particularly concerning -- it feels unnecessarily punitive and lacks fairness and flexibility. Instead of promoting growth and accountability, it seems to be focused on control and discipline. Furthermore, the restrictions placed on the school-issued MacBooks are counterproductive. Essential applications, such as the Notes app, are disabled, despite students relying on them to stay organized, manage assignments, and prepare for exams. These limitations hinder students' ability to use their tools effectively and do not support a healthy academic environment. As a parent, l urge the school to reevaluate these policies and consider the long-term impact they are having on students' well-being, motivation, and overall learning experience.
