Attended a wedding nearby and stayed in the Acorn Cabin. I'd read a few older negative reviews before arriving so I was a little wary, but ended up being pleasantly surprised. The new owner was on the property when we arrived and she offered some local dinner recommendations. The cabin has two bedrooms on the second floor. The bathroom is on the first floor. Really enjoyed the screened-in porch. There are hiking trails on the property and there's a communal fire pit and activities area. Peaceful area, would stay here again. read more

Do not go here!!! Owner talked in circles, kept repeating himself over and over. Didn't seem stable. Or sober. When I felt uncomfortable and decided not to stay (having never even seen the cabin) he tried refusing to give my check I had written minutes before back.
