Also, if it matters to you, the only "Art" on the wall was a big poster advertising United Healthcare. Stocked vending machine for snacks and laundry supplies. I give it about an 8 on the depresh-o-meter owing to the quality of the decorations, (see above). Cons- top 40 pop music blasting loudly. Pros - the guy who owns the car sales lot also owns this place, so he's on premises. All the machines were working order. I was told that there was sign stating this on the machine...If said sign exists then it is not clearly posted in a high visibility area...I don't like or want to do business with a company that tries to deceive or use sketchy business tactics...If I had not checked my bank statement and found this discrepancy it more that likely would have gone unnoticed and the 20.00 charge would have remained...I my opinion this is possibly fraudulent and borderline illegal...either way Northside Cleaners you have lost my business.

Folding Tables are clean and plentiful. Machines new and I only saw 1 broken dryer. Can't say the same thing for the vending machine for food, which had a bunch of Post-it notes on it that just said " don't touch me". I can so relate. And there is an old school laundry detergent and softener dispenser for 1.25. I saw no staff around, I only saw the public, such as myself, a mixed bag of people doing enormous amounts of loads of laundry and people doing a backpack full. I did not have to wait for any machines and overall I would say that the experience wasn't terrible. I would give it 7 out of 10 bubbles.

Seems pretty clean inside however I smelled inside one of the drums to wash my king size comforter…read moreand it smelled musty. I added half a cup of laundry detergent from my detergent bottle to wash my comforter and the detergent dispenser had a lot of soap in side which I'm sure mixed with my laundry soap to make it sudsy. I did see the lady using "sprayway" to clean the detergent compartment however I don't think that will suffice to fully clean the detergent compartment. The inside of the drum smelled musty before I put my comforter inside and the other machine next to me had pet hair and it stunk so I didn't dare to use that one lol. Before I put my comforter inside the door was closed, this isn't good to properly let the washer ventilate to prevent the mold from manifesting and the musty smell from occurring. (It's the same price per minute as it would be if you did a bigger chunk of time, at least with the big dryers in the middle.) The only thing that would make it nicer is if there was more seating and the seating was more pleasant, but I'd rather have mediocre seating and better prices, so, not gonna complain! Let me first say that I have been taking a fair amount of pants for alterations, as well as shirts…read morefor patches to be sewn on since I relocated to Fort Wayne in March 2025. Well over several hundreds of dollars for basic alterations. In early April I took a pair of jeans that were beginning to fray on the right leg to have the hem shortened [I have had her complete this process on at least another six pairs of jeans previously]. Approximately two weeks ago her husband called and stated that my pants were ready for pick up. Since I had already paid and she was busy as usual I took the pants and returned home. When I got home, I noticed that that right bottom HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. On Friday, June 26th I returned to Roza's to illustrate that the jeans HAD NOT been repaired. Roza had several customers in the business at the time, however in short, she stated clearly in front of the other customers that these were a DIFFERENT pair of jeans that I brought in. At first, I thought she was joking - this is the same woman that I stop in to say hello, brought flowers for her on Mother's Day; Treating Roza more than a business, but rather a friend - however, she was serious. At least three times she indicated that her process was 100% defect-free and I was attempting to get her to repair another pair of my jeans for free. I have been a Continuous Improvement - Process Improvement Manager for over 35+ years around the globe. EVERYTHING we do is a process, and therefore every process can be improved. Regarding her statement that her process was NEVER wrong, I wanted to provide data that even flying in an airplane or having major surgery is NOT 100% defect free. I have NEVER been so embarrassed, frustrated, or angry at a business where I was ACCUSED of attempting to get $10.00 worth of work by perceived deception. It took every ounce of self-restraint and ultimate respect for Roza to not confront her in FRONT OF HER CUSTOMERS, even though she had ZERO ISSUE with calling me a liar in front of them. As I have read in countless reviews Roza provides excellent work - which I 100% agree - yet I also have read many comments indicating that she can be rude as well. I called later and left a message indicating my disappointment in the way I was treated after being a customer for well over a year. Much to my surprise and further disappointment I received ZERO FEEDBACK. I believed in Roza and her business to the point where I carried extra business cards in my wallet and passed out to others that indicated they required alteration needs; Other businesses as well !!! Data indicates that for every unsatisfied customer they will tell at a minimum seven others - Friends, Co-Workers, Neighbors, etc.. - what unsatisfactory customer service they were given. Those Seven Individuals will tell others as well. DO THE MATH. Again, everything we do is a process; EVERY PROCESS can be IMPROVED... In closing, I will ABSOLUTELY wear the "Emperor's Clothes" before I EVER STEP FOOT in her business again.
