I like to do what's called a feedback sandwich in my reviews, where I remark on a good quality, follow it up with an area to improve, then end again on a positive quality. Let's see... What's something good I can say about this place....? It's in a convenient locator ion that's close to work, however this doesn't count for much since you're going to be late for work anyway because the staff like to keep people waiting. Speaking of the staff there is a serious attitude problem, as they love to let you know just how much of an inconvenience you being there is to them. I think that this place looking to get the pocket my name is in a pair of trousers replaced. I was charged $50 and asked to return in a week. Upon collecting my trousers I found for the pocket linings were not replaced, just the holes sewn up. This meant that I had to purchase linings and see them into the trousers myself only a week later. When trying to discuss this with establishment of the attitude went from cold and distant to hot and hostile very quickly! You do not want to pull these guys up on their mistakes! So many reviews from people with very similar stories, why are they still operating?

Lucky for me, I've got Ford Dry Cleaners a hop skip and jump down the road - and they can usually turn it around in a day or two. Service is really good (though I never go in for anything but your basic dry cleaning) and the prices are on par. They always treat my babies gently and have always removed any specific stains I've brought to their attention - including one huge coffee stain on my cream Lover dress, which I was totally freaked out about. They also offer your usual bits and bobbins - zips, dyes, buttons and the like - as well as minor alterations, but I wouldn't really recommend them for anything but the super basic, super specific alteration, as they're not really set up for it and don't have a change room. But hey - they do one thing and they do it well.

But OH MY GOD it was perfect. They left a note on the dress saying there were a few spots left, but I couldn't see them. I was so ecstatic I could of kissed the lady serving me. Definitely the best $19 I have spent in my life. I'm generally not a dry-cleaning person. I usually put the washing machine on gentle and hope nothing shrinks. However, there are some special items that definitely need dry cleaning. I would most definitely recommend Ford. They are friendly, fast and do a brilliant job.

They're very accommodating to your wishes and needs for the service, and from all accounts the pricing is fair. Nestled deep in the hills near Clarendon, the drive there alone is awesome. Kangarilla Cemetery is built on a long slope affording some wonderful views over the valley. It's surrounded by gum trees, which in turn have their fair share of wildlife. It was opened in 1875, with the first burial being that of John Hart in the same year. Before this, there were various small cemeteries attached to churches in both Kangarilla and Clarendon. There are surprisingly over 1200 burial sites in this small cemetery, including ashes internments, and I've been privileged to perform a few of those in my role as a Celebrant. Throughout South Australia, you'll find some amazing small cemeteries, each attached to a small town or homestead, and they're all worth a visit if you're passing. I use these as an excuse to rest if I'm on a long drive into the country or outback. The amount of local history that can be learned from these wonderful places is quite staggering - but of course only if you're into that sort of thing. I am - so will keep posting those that I find are 'Yelp-worthy'!

They also advertise as using non toxic environmentally friendly products which is great as it won't affect the ground or our bodies. When you think about it even by washing our clothes and bedding at home, it depends on the detergent used and how our skin reacts to it. Those with allergies and sensitive skin are only too aware of the affects and possible dangers it can cause for them. Karl Chehade also has a display rack with items for sale such as leather and suede protection sprays and polishes, lint brushes, garment bags, etc. Prices for their services vary depending on the size of curtains and fabric, so it's best to bring them in if you can for a quote. Great dry cleaners and in a handy location, plus turn around time is reasonable.

As could be expected, there is a detergent dispenser in the corner which charges about 20c a hit. For the past 5 years, I've been frequenting the Snowtex dry cleaners located on the outside of the Torrens Park/Mitcham shopping centre complex. They have a range of services on offer, but I have predominantly utilised them to get my suits dry cleaned. They offer a 24 hour drop-off and pick up service, which definitely 'suits' my needs (that must've been 'pun'ishing to read! Haha - Bam Bam! Double pun!) Their prices have changed a little over the years, but not enough for me to go looking elsewhere. They have another outlet in Keswick to for anyone on that side of the city. The alterations/repairs I've had done over the years have been timely, affordable and well done. You can't go wrong with Snowtex. Unless you're a rodeo clown. Then, I imagine you might need a slightly more 'robust' service. But for most of us, Snowtex is the way to go.

Green grass and inlaid plaques as far as the eye can see. Beautiful trees line the roads that weave visitors to the two chapels (with colour coded markings on the road which I think is super clever). The chapels are neutral, which I guess is important for such an event. The only thing I would say is that the chapels and the rooms that you gather in after the funeral service are both quite small. At each service I've been to, many people have been left standing, some outside during the service and the refreshment room has been uncomfortably packed, which is not ideal when trying to pass on condolences. Maybe that says more to the love for those that have passed than the space itself.
