I have had the chance to use Whitehouse Dry Cleaners find them reasonably priced and fair to the customer. As for the ladies cushion covers, I would say that with her not feeling well she maybe was a little rude and did not let the clerk answer her as politely as she would have liked. I would ask her how old the covers were and how many times have the been cleaned, do you have pets that could have snagged the material, did you use anything on them before you brought them to the cleaners to get the cheese sauce out? I seen the gentleman turn business away because the article was beaded and they might come off in the process. So before you go giving a small hometown business a bad rap, give it another try. As for the paying upfront, I can assure that he has lost more money because he does the work and the customer does not come to pick up the cleaning. By the way, it is the only cleaners in town that does not send to the south end of the county to be cleaned. I have personally seen him bend over backwards to help a lady that lost her husband the day before and need her dress cleaned and his suit cleaned for the funeral the next day. So before you pass judgement give it another try, you might find the when you are feeling in fine health things might look different. read more
